That button with the rabbit and the steering wheel is a fast turn option. The way it works is when you turn the steering wheel half a turn your steering wheels fully turn. Super useful on headlands.

Don’t get me wrong there incredibly comfortable tractors and are fantastic to drive however... you wouldn’t be long before you wanted your Deere back... Several people have had a hell of a problems with them, Front diff Rear hub seals= complete new rear hubs, Hand switches, Adblue problems, Hydraulic splices, Front linkage problems, rear linkage problems, Turbo, Coolant seals, Pipes rubbing though, Pick-up hitch bracket shearing bolts endlessly, Window wipers motors, Gear box creeping back,Wing mirrors wobbling (although they’ve fixed them in the new ones now), Door seals whistling and new gearbox All within 3500 hours, 1 good, well experienced driver, not rough at all. Needless to say it’s gone for a Deere 6250r... and he’s not the only one. Like I say don’t get me wrong there lovely to drive and all and there’s probably as many people that have had no problems but from what I’ve seen of them I’d never buy 1 unless they become exceptionally reliable all of a sudden!

Gone are the days when you could start your tractor with a screwdriver jumping the solenoid and work al day, (and get home knacked) now theres more in them than a luxury car or truck. Almost time to book in for a pilots licence 😁 George Saunders loves his. I think the main problem with all new tractors is the enviroment you work in and electronics don't mix too well. I have seen less than year old new holland scrapped because they could not find an intermitant electrical problem and to rewire and change all electronic parts was more than the value new due to added labour costs(insurance claim)

Try getting an 8330 as a demo. Now they are proper beasts, shame I don't see them often though. I think JCB couldn't really shift as many as the 4220. Although that could be because my local dealer, RVT, sells JCB and John Deere didn't want the 8330 tractors to be sold.

Be very wary of stones in the muck whilst using a rear discharge spreader cos it’ll frighten the life out of you when one smashes its way through the rear window when your back is turned.i think it’s common because the cab is so far from the front of the spreader compared to a conventional tractor. It’s happened to me and quite a few others.having to search for little bits of glass down the back of your T-shirt can be a bit irritating....

@trailertenten5 жыл бұрын
I would try the hedge trimmer on it... not with it running but just to see how far back it sits, considering how much time you spend trimming. i expected you to like it, everyone does initially, it's a nice thing to be in but it's more an off-road lorry then a tractor, ideal if you're hauling on the highway most of the time. My boss has always wanted one but thankfully as yet he hasn't. Our local agri-contractor tried one last year and loved the ride, but stuck with his fendts in the end, he mentioned poor turning circle and wasn't a fan of the thought of living with outboard brakes.. like someone else said earlier the 'Ginger Girlfriend' analogy is spot on... but I still thin you'll choose it.

Amazing looing machine, all that hay around those discs though is a massive fire risk, and watch out for hay up under the chassis frame behind the front wheels, the cause of many a burnt out machine, takes a lot to put out that fire, you will need more than the supplind extinguiser..

To me I don't get the point of having a fastrack on a farm really yeh they might be fast but nothing compaired to Fendt, John Deere etc. As some people told me your better of getting a fastrack if your pulling a digger around and need it to get someone were urgently or a building site. Their really built for speed from getting one place to another Fendt would be best for comfort speed and efficiency but that's my opinion, great channel btw.

I'd stick with JD if I were you, less things to go wrong with it IMO, but nothing wrong with exploring the competition a bit and I can imagine a faster tractor is quite appealing if you're shifting stuff between 3 farms. Nice video.
