Red was difficult to capture on traditional film ( which 2007 used) hence why red was rare in the film. They had ironed this out by 2011.

@@Jcc2224 Or, more likely, a random toy reviewer doesn't know how traditional film works and how red is notoriously hard to capture on physical footage. But far be it from me to tell you you can't just follow the same "grrrr Bay = Bad!" rethoric that G1ers have been spewing since 07. Did you know literally every singe criticism (aside from the horny) people level at the films can just as easily be applied to G1?

My favorite is the Specialist Ratchet from Dark Of The Moon for Nostalgic reasons. I had that figure as a kid and loved that thing. It was definitely one of my favorite toys as a kid. And the MechTech weapon was the coolest thing.

Seeing it now i think this mold would've worked if it was re tooled as a movie version of red alert from armada. The skinny legs works and it would be interesting to see the limbs in blue.

The bumper is supposed to be pulled down in robot mode. It also makes the lights on the chest move

I wish they bring back automorph for integrating weapons and I want it to look like how in pacific rim where Gypsy Dangers head attaches onto the body and the metal pieces shift and lock into places and its just so cool

The Hunt For The Decepticons deluxe Ratchet figure is one of the best as not only because he's in G1 colors which is what Ratchet should've sported instead, but in my personal opinion, he's way better than his studio series counterparts because my experience with the 5 pack version from the amazon Autobots 5 pack from 2022 is horrible as one hip pops off the joint when trying to articulate it and it even pops off when i didn't even touch the legs and one of the vehicle parts refused to tab in, even when i force it, it still won't and I broke it in rage because of that and also, the rail parts aren't foldable on the back.

My favorite and only ratchet is the original 2009 deluxe ratchet. But I do really want the rescue ratchet version.

You forgot to pull the front bumper down, which triggers an automorph where the 3 lights in front of the grille move into a more movie accurate v formation.

I have core class 86 ratchet,the original DOTM ratchet and bee movie ratchet and going to get N.E.S.T ratchet big fan of him he’s my favourite transformer character ever 😊
