This installmment features lots of interesting flight moves and wing/muscle motion in close-up 300, 600, and 1200fps slow motion. Oho, this film is so truly amazing! A little cluster of hummingbirds has come to habitually feed at my two feeders. If I was amazed at them in real life (I am), your film has enchanted me even more so. Thank you for this look into the impossible looking flight of hummingbirds.

Hi Ken! Thanks for the kind words :-) I'm using the F1 completely stock. It's taken a couple of years to figure out what works, but I'm still learning. LOTS of experiments and bad footage! XD The real secret is massive lighting; direct bright sunlight is best. I recently made a 200w halogen light rig, that I'm just starting to mess with too. I wish I had control during shoot! The zoom can do cool things with DOF; soft/blurry backgrounds help the compression engine focus on the subject. =)
