Thanks, your video was very helpful. The step by step method meant I didn't have any stray screws left over and no more "put my bin back".

So thankful for the folks who take the time to post these "how to" videos. Turns out, my BUDDY had a few grains of kitty litter under the dust bin. I vacuumed them out and it did its usual SUPERB job. But it was this video that gave me confidence to get down on the floor with my BUDDY and begin to tear it down, thus discovering my simple solution. THANK YOU jcook007fix

Absolutely one of the best DIY videos I have ever seen. This fixed the dust bin error on the Sig XV Pro. Thx!

Huge thanks, I was ready to solder the wires to bypass the switch till I saw this.

I followed this to solve another issue where it would always say brush got stuck. After disassembling I also took off the brush motor and discovered a lot of hair inside of the rotating part. Cleaning that "birds nest" away made the brush rotate smoothly again.

Hello! We have such a problem (my right wheel is stuck. Please free it from debris.) The vacuum cleaner starts up, scans the space, starts moving and stalls. This recording is on the screen. Have you ever encountered this? The vacuum cleaner was disassembled and cleaned.

I have a question regarding this fix: what if instead of cleaning the conductive rubber at the switch, I simple bypass it by soldering the two wires? I am old enough to know when I put the bin in place. Can it make any problem in your opinion?
@jcook007fix4 жыл бұрын
Never tried this. But I would try it on my unit. I don't see how it could hurt.
@DannyZ54 жыл бұрын
@@jcook007fix well, my only concern is that while giving the msg "please empty my dirt bin" it will expect the switch to report disconnection followed by reconnection and w/o a switch it cannot be done.

@@DannyZ5 Daniel did you try this bypass operation? And if so does it work? thanks
@DannyZ54 жыл бұрын
@@Nostrafatu yes I did. It askes you to clean the bin "if needed". it does not hold you from keep using the VC

@@DannyZ5 Thanks! can you expound on what the procedure or what wires have to be welded together? I'll be a big hero with the better half if I can get the Neato working again. These things are great but man are the new ones pricey !
