Great video of what to do with the sensors. That detail was not present in other companies’ install videos.

What sensors or Jeep are you using in the video? My 2018 JLU Sport uses different mounts for the parking sensors in the plastic bumper.

Excellent video install.. Do you know the part number for the sensor housing? As I broke mine and cant seem to find anywhere online to order them.

Will you guys be releasing any videos for the JL front bumper install?

We have a full install coming soon, but for now this should cover everything different between the JK install and the JL. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4vPZ3hmmt6ErdE

Warning: the backup sensors on my Sport JL do not have a bracket that can be removed from the plastic bumper. As a result, while I was installing the bumper I could not install the factory backup sensors. I'm really hopeful Jeep sells the clips so that I can put them in, but this video will NOT work for Jeep owners with backup sensors where the bracket that holds them is glued/stamped to the actual bumper itself.

why not use metric fasteners for any new hardware instead of SAE bolts? if the jeep was imperial, use imperial bolts......
@JcrOffroad6 жыл бұрын
Trevor McDonald because the PEM fasteners we use on the nut plates are more readily available in SAE, and we don't do enough volume to order custom fasteners and tooling for Metric. Plus that cost would get passed on to the customer.

i'm having a hard time seeing the "custom fasteners" as any of these can be ordered from places like, fastenal (also on the shelf), McMaster Carr, spaenaur to name a few online places with all of them also selling the PEM inserts and mandrel for your press tool. i like your products, but wish all the tooling needed was in the same family, so the consumer or new jeeper doesn't need to keep extra tooling in there box or trail bag just for one bumper bolt...i'm fortunate to run our manufacturing of build large steelworks for the aerospace industries and the number one rule is to not mix SAE/MM so no one needs excessive tooling or the opportunity to cross thread something and cause more issues then a bolt of a different thread. aside from that, i like the design and maybe trading in the JK for a JL and your products are hi on the list. keep up the good work.
