I'm confused. The Tremor that you're working on has a skid plate. Why are you replacing it with one of your own? What is the difference? My apologies if it was self-explanatory, I didn't get it 🤔

We've found the factory skid plates to be thin and not up to the task of much beyond a rutted gravel road, so we've replaced them with something much beefier.

​@@JcrOffroadthank you for your reply. I thought the skid plate felt pretty sturdy It didn't feel like a flimsy piece of metal. Question? How come you didn't extend it up further on the slanted plastic bumper part? I'm guessing there's no way to connect. If you could come up with something like that I think you'd even enhance your product because that's an area that could get scraped quite a bit.

@@SteveSherman-ij5gm Yeah my FX4 has a smaller front skid plat that attaches to the larger rear portion which this skid plate does not address. Seems this is only for the Tremor version.

@@JcrOffroad I want that skid plate and the others you offered plus the Rock Sliders after I do the lift and leveling plus looking at K03’s if I can find the right size

This skid plate is on my list mainly because it has easy access points for oil changes. If you do your own it makes it easier and if you have it taken some place you dont run the risk of coming home with less screws or missing the skid plate from techs that might be in a hurry.

Thanks I found a fabrication shop that works on all kinds of high dollar stuff so he said he would work on my Maverick. I love your product and I wanna do completely underneath the front to back after I put my lift on it with tire size increase. 2024 Maverick Tremor XLT with Terrain paint. What color is the paint on yours. I can’t tell in the video if it’s a light gray or Terrain

It’s called Snow cap I believe. It’s a light gray.

Is this SKU: BSSD-GN-1G? On your website it says it has access to the oil filter and drain plug. Would I have to remove the skid plate during oil changes?

So what about non Tremor versions that specifically like the FX4 that has a 2 piece skid plate? There seems to be a front portion missing here.

That's not something that we have been able to verify on the FX4 with the 2-piece skid plate yet.

@@JcrOffroad yeah just from what I see in the video it's specific to just that Trim model and wouldn't work on FX-4 and non FX-4 variants.
