Dark, haunting, and brilliant. He needs to make an album of songs like this. Voice, guitar, amp, and a microphone. That is all this man needs. Please J.D.- give us an album of old blues tunes reworked like this one.

That’s the way to do it. Remember this great band out of Boston in the 80’s that lived in this vein.Treat Her Right.

@@FromtheSoultotheFretboard Were you lucky enough to see them as a native? I was working in a record store(in nowhere Mt)...remember when you were so young and they’re was so much cool to discover? Well anyway, we would get these demos in along with our record orders and Treat Her Right’s first Lp release was one. It was so swampy....man it was great. I think The Replacement’s Please to meet me was also in that batch. My young heavy Metal brain got infected and my musical direction was changed almost overnight. Mt was just a day drive on the interstate between Minneapolis and Seattle and nobody ever bothered stopping by. What a shame. The only Punk show I was aware of was seeing was Fugazi play the basement of the AMVETS club in 91’? Nothing is as great as when you discover you know nothing and there’s generations of music you’ve missed. It happens to this day. An Eric Clapton 4 record retrospective Crossroads was released and I heard what else the guitar could do. I think it all started with Don Kirschner Rock Concert on a Friday night. DEVO comes out wearing cone shaped buckets on their head.I remember not knowing or understanding what I had just witnessed. Great memories! Love your YT moniker. I’m a fretboard junky that borders on the religious and fanatic. Just picked up a 34’ L00. Man, there are still some great guitars to get your hands on! JD is the real deal. What are you playing these days? Greetings and cheers!

Dropped that Jaguar down from E to somewhere around B. That isn't dropping steps anymore, that's dropping flights of stairs. Playing it in E wouldn't have been half as haunting. Very nice as usual from JD.
