@@jaartisjones5713 Biden did not do the same thing. Biden is no veteran, but he never paid his doctor to reject him either, like Trump did. Kamala is female. If it was up to republicans females STILL wouldn't even be ABLE to serve. Trump didn't serve because he is a coward and he has used his cowardice to get out of not only militairy service but also during his time in office to get out of war, and isolate the US, disrespect and even vilify true American heroes and patriots, calling them losers for getting caught. It does not matter weather Biden or Harris served, or how well and how long Walz, who did serve, is depicted. Bottom line: Trump and almost all of his political cronies havent served, were too scared, to dumb and to blunt. A true american hero and patriot is one who gives people that have served credit. ### **J.D. Vance** - **Branch**: U.S. Marine Corps - **Role**: Combat Correspondent - **Service Duration**: 4 years of dedicated service - **Deployment**: Deployed to Iraq, a key combat zone during one of the most intense periods of the Iraq War. - **Combat Experience**: Yes, J.D. Vance was deployed to Iraq, where he was embedded with front-line Marines, documenting and reporting on the harsh realities of combat. His role required him to be in close proximity to military operations, offering him firsthand exposure to the complexities and dangers of warfare. This experience in a high-stakes environment honed his resilience, discipline, and understanding of military life under the pressures of combat. - **Post-Military Career**: After his service, Vance took the lessons and experiences from the battlefield to the halls of academia, earning a law degree from Yale, and later writing the bestselling memoir *Hillbilly Elegy*. His story of rising from a challenging background, serving his country in a war zone, and achieving success in both education and politics is a testament to his determination, grit, and leadership. Vance is now a U.S. Senator, where his decisions are informed by his direct experiences in the military, giving him a unique perspective on national security and veteran affairs. ### **Tim Walz** - **Branch**: Army National Guard - **Role**: Command Sergeant Major - **Service Duration**: 24 years of honorable service - **Deployment**: Primarily served within the United States, focused on domestic missions and state-level emergency response. - **Combat Experience**: No, Tim Walz did not serve in a combat zone during his lengthy career. His role in the Army National Guard involved significant leadership responsibilities, overseeing the training and welfare of soldiers, but his experience did not include deployment to combat environments like Iraq or Afghanistan. Instead, Walz's service was centered around supporting the National Guard’s vital role in domestic operations and state emergencies. - **Post-Military Career**: After his military service, Walz transitioned into politics, where he served as a U.S. Representative and is now the Governor of Minnesota. While his military career was commendable, it lacked the direct combat experience that can provide a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and realities faced by soldiers in war zones. ### **Key Differences**: 1. **Combat Experience**: - **J.D. Vance**: Experienced the harsh realities of war firsthand in Iraq, gaining insights and resilience that only come from being in a combat zone. - **Tim Walz**: While he held a significant leadership role in the National Guard, he did not serve in a combat zone, focusing instead on domestic missions and training. 2. **Roles and Responsibilities**: - **Vance**: His role as a combat correspondent placed him directly in the line of fire, where he documented the bravery and challenges of his fellow Marines, offering him a unique perspective on the true costs of war. - **Walz**: His responsibilities were more centered on leadership and management within the National Guard, ensuring readiness and supporting state-level missions, rather than engaging in combat. 3. **Service Duration**: - **Vance**: Served for 4 intense years in the Marine Corps, marked by his deployment to a combat zone. - **Walz**: Served for 24 years, providing stability and leadership within the National Guard, though without the experience of combat. This comparison highlights J.D. Vance's direct exposure to combat and the intense environment of a war zone, setting his military experience apart from Tim Walz, who served honorably but without combat deployment. Vance’s experiences on the front lines offer him a perspective shaped by the realities of war, giving him unique credibility and insight into military and veteran issues.

Bring it on JD! You're in very dangerous territory here. I am overseas with the military right now. The difference between a Marine in civil affairs and a Sergeant Major of 29 years is 25 years who became a leader in the military. Both were sent overseas to support the troops during wartime, and neither one of them saw combat (orders are orders), but Walz was trained in heavy artillery and sharp shooting and did instruct troops, which is much more combat ready and potentially useful than a paper pusher who guides civilians around the bases. Walz's rank as an NCO is highly commendable and is very difficult to achieve. NCO's are highly regarded by the troops, often over commissioned officers. Walz was a dedicated and impressive NCO leader who then went on to further serve his community as a teacher and principal for 20 years, then became a congressman on the Armed Forces committees, while Vance left the Marines to become a venture capitalist in Silicone valley and serve himself. Needless to say, this brings up many things about the coward Draft Dodger Don. So bring it on JD!

Some people join at the right time and some people join at the wrong time. That’s how you know that JD is a shit bag Marine. I would never criticize JD for only doing one term. The fact that Walz put on a uniform, and for 24 years served this country it’s something that I never knew that it was ever going to be criticized. Plus he had 24 years in the NG and was eligible for retirement. Plus he was an E-9 he was not going to see any combat. And here are the facts (which magats never bother to check): Records show Walz officially filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on Feb. 10, 2005. He had been talking about retiring and running for Congress for a year. Walz retired on May 16, 2005. The Minnesota National Guard told CBS News that Walz's unit - 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery - received an alert order for mobilization to Iraq on July 14, 2005 - two months after Walz retired. Walz left the military at the rank of command sergeant major, one of the top for an enlisted soldier. Personnel file records show that he was reduced in rank months *after retiring, leaving him as a master sergeant for benefits purposes.* Magats tell the dumbest lies - lies that are easily fact checked with actual documents. And something really important: Walz focused on veterans in Congress. Of the 85 bills Walz sponsored over his six terms, nearly half had to do with veterans’ issues.

No JD Vance's record in the truth speaks for itself. Never consider yourself virtuous while telling people to shut up and try to stop free speech our first amendment out of existence you Nazi.

I moved to Belgium 20 years ago. In my Dutch class, I got death glares from an Iraqi couple in the class. At one point, a Canadian woman in the class that I was friendly with finally introduced us. We got to know each other. I found out that they had a successful drapery business in Bagdad. It was bombed and destroyed during the US invasion. Then their home was bombed. They lost everything. They had to escape Iraq and ask for asylum in Europe. Is going along with that honorable? I believe 1 million Iraqi civilians were killed by the US invasion of Iraq. There were no WMDs. Yes, Hussein was a bastard. He was a murderer. But the US does nothing about other dictators around the world-Trump loves a bunch of them. I wouldn't be proud of being part of that invasion. Just following orders is a piss poor excuse for your actions.

Don't question vets service, and especially don't throw around the term stolen valor. Do not come back at this by questioning JD's service as it was honorable. We are better than this and it is easy to win on this by just thanking all vets for their service. All of them, even people voting for Trump. This is not a game, we care about everyone who served.
