there's no CV output. So you'd have to MIDI to CV with a module.

Amazing. This synth sounds great! This is the new polyphonic Mini, the P5 of the 2010's, and it will be cheap! Behringer is preparing a desktop version. If they could expand the options of larger size keyboards - 5 or 6 octaves, in limited quantities - this little synth could take over the world.

Curious if you found a controller that sends Note Off Velocity and Aftertouch... the ones I'm seeing cost as much as the DM12 itself :P
@synthartist698 жыл бұрын
Sounds good but needs 61 keys not 49.... makes playing too limited, at least for the style of music I normally play. And no, do not want to midi it to a 61 key controller. Want to be able to just take to a gig or studio and play it by itself if needed. Other than that, it's okay. Hopefully it is not noisy like all the other Behringer equipment I have used.
@synthartist698 жыл бұрын
too limited for me, for my style of play.... 61 keys are a must. Maybe it's because I suck and need more keys than a great player like JD73. If you noticed, he is not playing left handed notes most of time, because the low notes are not there to play. When he does need more keys he is having to play both keyboards at the same time. So, 49 keys are ok for some people I guess, if you want to use two keyboards at once or if you have a bass player and you want to play with one hand. In this case, I call that limited.. lol

@goldphinga8 жыл бұрын
Hey Olaf. Already answered on gearslutz but yeah it wasn't meant to be a dedicated bass patch as such, it's the main poly sound that i used to play bass in this instance, in fact I even rolled bass off using the HPF so as not to interfere with the real bass frequency wise. The DM12 puts out a helluva lot of low end, especially with the bass boost on which I really dig.
