I was initially drawn to this anime by all the hype and buzz around it, but watching it with you guys has been the most enjoyable experience I've had with any reactor. Your genuine laughter and smiles while enjoying the show's unexpected quirks and blend of humor and horror make it so much fun. Dandadan's unique combination of supernatural elements and comedy, along with its quirky characters, feels like a fresh breath of air in 2024. I can't wait to finish the series with you two!

In case you guys didn't notice... the "jibun... Bukiyo nano de" is takakura ken's catchphrase which is why she reacted to him after the UFO thing... WHICH BTW... is why one of the giant toads naruto summons to fight against Pain says a lot too since he is based of that actor's role... the one with the weird weapon kinda like a 2 pronged fork used to pin down opponents...

In Voice actors/actress, i recognize Luffy's (One Piece) voice actress for Turbo Granny, Frieza (DBZ) voice actor for one (or two) of the 3 aliens, Zoro voice actor (One Piece) for the third Alien and Tanjiro (Demon Slayers) voice actor for Cursed boy. Weird to heard Luffy wanted to have the D....he already have it..Maybe in episode 5 or 6 you gonna know the reason of the Cat and Golden Ball in the Ending. The intro's song come from Creepy Nuts , their official videoclip is out and it's "nut's also. They made the openning of the season 2 of Mashle that was a real banger (More than 70M views at the beginning of the year).

The turbo granny is an actual urban legend... not sure if in japan in general or just in anime... but i have seen her in multiple anime which at some point tackle the occult either staight forward or in just a passing comment... The power spots and the places with the UFO's are also common tropes... not sure about the very specific kind of aliens though...
