Looks good 👍🏻 i choose Cusco, love it and never look back. I like the car to be more responsive in handling and don’t mind the stiffness feel. Good presentation ! Cheers from Toronto🇨🇦

Hey man, I have a similar but full setup for OEM+ built, I have Cusco top struct bar, draw stiffener, and rear trunk stiffener with HKS sp coilover and 24 mm Whiteline rear sway bar and kar boy endlink, car feels so good, no understeer at all if you know how to drive it, I drove my friends S209, my car's set up for now is like a 'stiff' version S209, no understeer, but more sport and tighten feel, draw stiffener is really good if you want to do it, it make steering feel much much much connected, as for the struct bar, I prefer the Cusco one, OEM one is good but it hard to fit IAG aos v3, and I think Cusco one may be better on performance in cornering, I dont care the ride quality to be honest, I just want performance.

Just ordered this. Hopefully it will get rid of the annoying bumby ride when going over rough roads.

You will notice an improvement right away on bumpy roads. Hope you enjoy it, I still have it on the car and love it.

It seems like this is a no brainer upgrade, literally zero downsides, should be first mod then rear SWAYBAR but I'd never even heard of this before. Do you think it would interfere with an upgraded TMIC or AOS?

Lol we buy the same mods 🤣 A front and rear sway bar makes a huge difference in roll. I miss the old school Subaru scene. Back in the day STi Japan offered maybe 40 different parts for Subarus. I still have STi coilovers on my 2005.

Haha, yeah that's pretty funny. And yeah, I remember when I was younger always wanting those carbon fiber STI tower bars...they looked so cool. For our VA chassis, they do have the STI Pink lowering springs. Have you tried them? I want to but some guy on the forum said that they would bottom out the car and it became worse? There is a thread about it on IWSTI.

@@urbanizeddreams I saw the STi Pink springs for the VA, but didn't look much into them. I had JDM Pink Springs on my GD WRX and it was LOW. It looked a tad Lower than the RCE Yellows. I currently have Swift Spec R's on my VA.I also just installed a full Chargespeed Carbon Bottom Line Kit, so going too low isn't in my plans. I remember those CF strut bars. Good timed browsing through those catalogs looking at all the cherry blossom suspension parts.

I looked for the next video regarding why you took the JDM strut brace off and went back with Cusco and could not find it. Why did you switch back? Was performance lacking?

Oh, I removed that video since I ended up staying with the STI Flexible tower bar. The Cusco actually created more understeer in corners after trying them back to back.

*This product cannot be installed on Left hand vehicles. This is what the sti japan website says, how can it be installed?
@urbanizeddreams6 ай бұрын
They just say it for legal reasons since they don't officially sell the product in North America. Cusco says the same for there tower bar "Only for Japan" Some dealerships in North America offer the STI tower bar since they import them from Japan.
