This is a really cool and easy light arrangement for the 04 tails. i have both JDM+USDM style just because I got pulled over once for "broken tail light" so I had to bring back the bulb. Not a bad look at all tbh with both JDM+USDM lights on.

@@dreamitbuildit8772 Ohh no i got pulled over for only having the JDM light mod. Then I made it to where both the circle and the side light (far side) were both on. Haven't had issues since.

What does the middle light end up being? USDM has 4 lights, but JDM has 5 light housings.

I been driving with this mod for 2 years now and haven't had one cop pull me over. all my tail light function still work legally.

Did you remove any of the bulbs as I'm confused as to how you stopped 1 of the bulbs illuminating to have just the circle jdm look?

At 3:15 you can see i removed the bulb that sit in the center of the tail light. i leave the running brake light (the one you can see even if your not pushing on the brake pedal) on the circle part, so that how you get the JDM look

Something more risky to do but you could cut the brake light wire and run it into the middle bulb to create a full light look when breaking, which will leave you with the singles while running. Again more risky but if you do it it looks even better!

Tried doing this now when I step on brake the right side doesn't get brighter , please help

By brighter do you mean your light don't turn on when you push on the brake or is your bulb just not bright. If it doesn't turn on then you might have pulled the wire too hard and you might have depin wires from the socket it self. If the bulb is not as bright and the one on the left then it time for some new bulbs. LED UPGRADE!! Hope this help

Dream it Build it how would I get the wires to go back in. When I turn my lights on the driver side doesn't turn on but when I press the brake it dose, any help?

swap the bulbs from the passenger side too the driver side and see if the some thing happens. If it dose happen you might have messed up the wiring but if the light turn on with and without the brake pushed in then you just need new bulbs ...NOTE!! wear some gloves to not mess up the bulbs when swapping

Tried doing myself now my tailights dont work maybe i pulled the wires to hard to get the bulbs into place? If so how do i fix it?

check that your bulbs aren't damage. should just be plug and play

Dream it Build it yea im pretty sure the bulbs are working im going to try to mess with the wires more you think maybe pulling the wire might have burnt the bulbs some how?

@@Snowalchemist677 Did you ever get this sorted? Pulling the wires shouldn't have damaged the bulb. But it's the first step in diagnosing the issue. 2nd step would be checking the fuses... If you accidentally created a short circuit, a fuse should have blown. If replacing the bulb or fuse didn't help, then you've probably pulled the wire too hard and either damaged the bulb holder, or the wire further down... Not a nice job to fix usually. Depending on where the wire might have been damaged, it can involve removing half of the cars insides and panels.

Looks like it would be way easier to just take the harness out and switch pins but.. 🤷‍♂️
