Been a fan of JDS labs for 14 years. They make no nonsense, affordable gear that sounds wonderful. I still use an old c421 amp (upgraded the op amp). Great company that always deserves wider recognition.

Thanks for the Review. I'm actually using an Atom DAC to listen to you! Quick correction that the amp and dac use 15v and 16v AC power sources, not DC.

Hans you are performing such a valuable service to the millions in the world who do not have your superior intellect for electronic physics but appreciate being educated on good choices for quality budget hi fi equipment. Your information is shooting several holes in the concept that to have good quality sound very expensive equipment is required. Thank you sir. A new sub, Larry C

This stack was the first one I ever bought getting into the hifi scene a couple of years back. I still use it nearly every day when I sit at my computer.

I got this stack with the Senn HD6XX for my first hifi audio setup, and it's such a great setup for under $500. Really like the atom stack.

If I recall correctly, the 3rd harmonic being at about -80db was fixed by JDS Labs through a firmware update on their blog. Perhaps this could explain the sibilance? I don’t hear sibilance on my unit but maybe I am deaf lol.
@TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel Жыл бұрын
Sibilance is due to slight jitter.

Why do you connect it to the nad and marantz amps if it already has an amp in the stack?
