Even if the intruder is injured who to say you are still not in danger! I think he is innocent and should be able to go home to his family who may have saved all their lives. Not GUILTY

Because this is Massachusetts, the most liberal state in America. They don't want men protecting their families. They expect you to wait 20mins for the police to show up. We have the worst gun/self defense laws. You have a DUTY to retreat in your own home. So if someone breaks in and I can escape out a side or back door, I have to do that before defending myself.. It's super expensive, ridiculous taxes, and all our local politicians are saying they won't report any illegal immigrant doesn't matter if they are committing crimes we have 8 sanctuary cities in our state. They get everything paid for while the middle class gets screwed. I hate this state, as soon as my mother is no longer alive, I'm moving

Pure self defense. The wife broke a lamp or something over his head and it STILL doesn't stop the intruder. What does that say about the intruder? It says that, unless he was killed, he wasn't going to stop. It doesn't matter if he was on the ground wounded, he is STILL a threat. He is a threat until he stops breathing. Do you think, had the intruder had a backup knife, that he wouldn't have used that after he was disarmed of the gun? You don't know what you would do when adrenaline is running through you, all you're thinking of is, "My wife is here, my kids are here. I am here." Your house should be your castle, you should feel SAFE in your house. No one should have that safety taken from them. If the police didn't take 20 minutes to show up they may have been able to save the intruder. This is a waste of taxpayers money. The Castle Doctrine should apply here since it IS part of MA law. I have a feeling like the prosecution is going to try to use this man as an example. I sincerely hope they fail. This is self defense. If he wasn't just protecting himself, he was protecting his wife, his kids in which he SUCCEEDED. He took the threat out. I'm glad I live in a Stand Your Ground state, this would be an investigation, nothing more. No charges.

Here i go again..Brian camp with his gf and young children were attacked while asleep in his own bed..naked.fought off an intruder who had broken in planning on doing bodily harm. He fought off a man much larger than himself for approximately 20 min and moving from room to room.he finally got the upper hand and managed to shoot the perp. Approximately 8 min.later,he shot him a second time ending the intruders life. I agree the second shot should not have happened, but the adrenaline,outrage and surreal emotions he must have been dealing with would,im sure not allow him to think clearly. The cops were still not there. If anything, a short manslaughter charge should suffice. The intruder went there to harm these people. I think of the juston root case in the same state where 31 bullets were unloaded into juston by 6 police officers while juston was down on the ground without a weapon. This for some reason was considered to be reasonable force by LE. Where is the justice? Massachusetts needs help...💯🇨🇦
