I learned that Jealousy can be an opportunity for you to do the next phase of your growth - and how you get through it is taking the curiosity of the desires of what you long for in others and see if it matches up with your vision and get to work and see if it fits in. Many realize that what others do - that we are jealous of - can turn to a form of appreciation instead of jealous - as we can discover that what they are doing is not meant for us to do and we think its jealousy when in reality we can reframe this to appreciation. If not - then learning to appreciate what others are doing can inspire you and take nuggets of what they do to build confidence with your own work. Comparison will kill your vision as Chase mentions.

Scott Musgrave Vision Awesome stuff, Scott. I used to be way worse with this, but I found a better way to channel those toxic feelings. It's funny... I was struck by this nasty pang of jealousy a few weeks ago, so I called into the show with my question because I figured others burn with the toxins too. I'm grateful they took it on. I mean, what a privilege, right?! Man, gives me chills just thinking about it.

Brilliant episode and so glad this question was asked. Marie's create before you consume plays in my head every day, particularly in the mornings where I can get off track. And you know, when I create before I consume, I'm less likely to spend much time looking at others and more excited, energised and keen to continue with what I'm doing. The action of getting stuck into your own projects elevates them in your view, raises them in importance. This raises your energy to do them and so it goes on. It's an epic feeling when this ball starts rolling. It's a self propelling activity and I feel amazing when I get this started. That's not to say I don't go off track, because I sure do. You can never rest in being vigilant and mindful but the more we act in a certain way the deeper the habit becomes and the easier it gets, allowing you to put effort into something else you want to bring into your life. Thanks for putting so much effort into sharing this content Chase, I always come away with something of value to apply to my life, even if it's a simple nudge back towards where I need to be. Cheers and I hope to catch you in the UK next time you're here 🍻

I really appreciate all of the inspiration and information you put out there. I've been a musician for a while and recently got my first DSLR. I found I'm passionate about photography and I want to become a creative force in the world. Again, I appreciate your work.

I liked the intimacy of you sitting on a sofa when in a call with someone. it's a nice change from the usual high energy of the previous videos. More personal.
