If not, why not try traveling to Everest Base Camp next? Haha, not saying you have to summit. I’d love to just travel to Kathmandu. Nice video!

What an awesome adventure! Thanks for sharing your obvious enthusiasm! I do want to point out one thing though. Although the International Space Station does orbit the Earth at an average altitude of ~250 miles, it only reaches as far south as the Falkland Islands or about halfway between Cape Town and the northern coast of Antarctica. That's because its orbital inclination is a little over 51 degrees from the Equator, so it never goes beyond those north and south planes.

Your best video yet, Jeb. My last trip in a DC-3 was in 1977, a subsidized day tour from Johannesburg to a gold mine. We went 4,000 feet below ground level, saw mining operations and the pouring of liquid gold into ingots. But I digress. I would be very interested in a video about packing for your Antarctica trip. What did you take, your luggage, and the cost of the trip? Which I imagine was beyond considerable. When I lived in Australia in 1974 I got to travel to New Zealand and visit the home of one of the survivors of the ill-fated Shackleton expedition. I don't recall the man's name, but he was one of the sailors left behind with the ship and those people lived. He was about 97 at the time. His recollections were riveting. Thanks again for a truly epic record of an amazing adventure. It astonishes me that tours run to the South Pole now. My partner went in 1974 and had to get all sorts of clearances, press credentials and permission from the military.
