i only played this game one time through despite really liking the story simply because of lack of fast travel. I found it so tedious running back to the Mantis every time especially since the map was also not very good.

That would be amazing if it became one of the best Star Wars games ever. Jedi Fallen Order really had me feeling like a Jedi for the first time ever in a video game in terms of combat in a Star Wars video game. I found the game to be pretty good but the story was a bit weak in my opinion so I hope the sequel is even better.

I think the story was great. The main characters were really well written and some of the side characters were interesting too. But the ending when they destroy the holocron was a bit disappointing since we’ve been fighting for that the whole game but well, I suppose they couldn’t rebuild the Jedi order whilst being in Star Wars canon But I respect your opinion

I'd really like to see Quinlan Vos. It's been hinted at in the comics that he survived Order 66, and it'd be cool to see him and Cal bond over their shared Force ability of psychometry.

With Cal on the run it would be interesting if a Sam Witwer voiced Maul showed up offering his "help" to Cal. It's not like he hasn't done it before...or rather, will do so in the future with Ezra Bridger.

Cal could meet Ahsoka and receive training from her, sure, but she can't help him against Vader. Ahsoka doesn't know who Vader is/meet Vader until Star Wars Rebels which takes place WAY later than Fallen Order. It would break the canon

I like cal, but I do hope they don't make himself as strong, or stronger than vader. I wouldn't mind if they fought briefly and cal manages to get away, but if it's for am extended period, it would diminish how opposing vader is. I love the force unleashed, but the premise of that game is that ur an incredibly strong sith

I want the same thing for JFO2 as I do for the Suicide Squad vs Justice League Game. I want it to be nearly a horror game with how dangerous Vader would be to Cal. Sure, I want Cal to become pretty strong, but I want it to still feel like Vader is on a completely different level, and Cal is only surviving due to ingenuity and special awareness. Just like I think the Suicide Squad game will be that much better if the difference in power between the Suicide Squad and Superman, Batman, and Flash is enough to border on it being a horror game.

But there’s definitely ways that he could learn to trust overtime if he’s been shown that trustworthiness from them multiple times. Plus Cal in my opinion seems similar to Ahsoka in the way that they’re more open to hearing people out and not as hardened unlike the way Kanan dealt with it (not that I blame him though, it’s just experience and personality differences).

That's a pretty cool idea. Or maybe like some games have side stories for different characters. Like flashbacks to order 66 so when Cal meets a couple of other Jedi throughout the game it flashes back when they go to tell their story and you have some different planets and Characters to play for a brief time. Kind of like being Vader in Force Unleashed in the first level.

Cal's abilities in Fallen Order were pretty limited so there is a huge potential for more stuff he could do. Here are a few ideas off the top of my head: 1. Force telekinesis that allows you to lift people and objects from afar and move them around with precision (like in The Force Unleashed or the recent LEGO game). 2. Force speed/dash to make very quick dodges or to move quickly through the environment to solve puzzles or avoid traps (think about the Bloodhound step from Elden Ring). In the first game, we can already see this ability because Trilla uses it during combat to create some distance and to toy with Cal. Cal also has a dash strike move that is just one application of this ability. 3. Mind Trick! This is one of the most obvious abilities. As Cal gets more familiar with the Force it would make sense for him to start using this ability. Perhaps he could distract the guards to move past them stealthily or even control their minds for a short time to make them do stuff (flip a switch, open the door, shoot comrades, throw themselves off a cliff or something). 4. Better version of the time stop ability. Cal has this very cool ability to freeze enemies in place. Perhaps in the sequel, this ability could be upgraded even further so that Cal is able to freeze all enemies within a certain radius around him, not just the ones in front. 5. If the game explores the dark side, we could possibly get a weak version of force lightning, force choke or force rage. 6. Grappling hook (like in Uncharted 4) so that Cal is able to swing across gaps by attaching the rope to some tree branch or a steel beam. It could also be used to climb up certain vertical walls or rappel down. 7. Stun taser to stealthily and non-lethally take down enemies from behind if the developers decide to include stealth gameplay this time around. 8. The ability to manually control BD-1 to solve puzzles and to reach places that Cal cannot reach. Perhaps BD could get small boosters like the one R2D2 have to fly for a short period of time. 9. More lightsaber stances (single blade, double-bladed, dual wielding 2 sabers). Cal has a split saber that can detach into 2 single-bladed hilts so it would make sense to include dual wielding as a separate stance. 10. Force jump. Cal can already double jump but it still covers very short distance. Force jump would allow him to perform powerful leaps that allow him to gain altitude or to jump across bigger gaps. That would definitely make the traversal more interesting and it would allow for bigger levels.

Star Wars is entering a next phase of growing and I’m really loving it right now. Can’t wait for the next chapter of Cals story. One of my favourite Jedi because he’s so different to the other Jedi. He feels vulnerable not just to Vader and other threats but mentality, so easy to relate to him because he’s not some gifted force user destined to shape the Galaxy. He really just got lucky and he’s surviving

I was just thinking that the game would be vastly improved just by adding the ability to crouch. It plays like a souls-like if you play on a higher difficulty and making it easier to sneak past high power enemies and come back later would give a lot more play-style options

The main thing I hope for in the sequel are realistic deaths. I loved the first one but if I slash a stormtrooper in half, I expect him to be cut in half. They did it well with the aminals, where they could actually be decapitated and sliced down the middle, where their body would be in two separate parts. But I don't think they will improve it because it is Disney, and they don't like violence.

I’d not be surprised at an Ahsoka cameo. You saw one rebel cell under Gorrera. I’d personally love to see Rex though because Cals last encounter with Clones was so traumatic. A lot like Kadens from Rebels. I’m sure the voice actor was in the first game aswell. All depends if Filoni is comfortable giving his characters to EA since he’s so protective of them. If it gets leaked he’s working on the game aswell though that will confirm one of them will appear to me

I think it would be cool if Cal learned Dark Side powers. If they did that, you'd be learning whole new abilities, creating a whole new story, and it could feature plenty of cameos. Here's how I'd do it. Cal is distressed after listening to a Holonet broadcast revealing that the Empire had just exterminated a group of Jedi survivors; worse, the occupants around him also watching the broadcast seemed satisfied that more Jedi were dead. He remembers his vision of the future had he found and trained the lost children and grows increasingly frustrated that nowhere is safe for Jedi while the Empire reigns supreme. Cere tries to counsel him and warns him of the path that his anger would lead him down. Cal retaliates, believing that he and Cere had given up when others wouldn't; not his old master and not his idol during the Clone Wars, Master Skywalker. On a mission with Saw and his rebels, Cal's group plans to intercept an Imperial prisoner transport vessel and release the captured rebels within. The ship is more heavily defended than they had anticipated, resulting in several rebel casualties. But as they free the prisoners, Cal and Cere sense there is a Force user onboard. Believing it to be a fellow Jedi, Cal runs to the heavily guarded cell. As Cal gets to work freeing the Force user, the rebels discover that the stormtroopers they killed were actually droids in stormtrooper armor, and not only had the controls on the bridge been disabled, but a tracking beacon had been activated; revealing that they had stumbled into a trap. A Star Destroyer jumps out of hyperspace and open fires on the transport, resulting in Cal being knocked unconscious. When Cal comes to, he's back aboard the Mantis with a concerned BD. Going out on deck to see Cere, Greez and Trilla, Cal is surprised to see only the Force user aboard. The Force user he freed reveals himself to be Darth Maul, and tells Cal that the transport had been destroyed along with his friends; only out of gratitude for freeing him did he bring Cal along with him to the Mantis. Cal grieves for the loss of his friends, and turns his anger on Maul for being a Sith. Maul defends himself and overpowers Cal, just as Vader did. Rather than kill Cal, Maul talks about how he and Cal have much more in common than they think; both were used by Palpatine in service to his plan, and both lost everything when he discarded them for no further use. Maul promises to show Cal the secrets of the Sith, and how it can be used to destroy them. From here, Cal would journey with Maul to ancient Sith home worlds like Korriban. On each home world is an ancient Sith temple, where Cal would engage in a trial under the tutelage of an ancient Sith Lord's spirit (Nihilus, Revan, Bane, Desolous, Plagueis, etc) and with each trial would learn a new Dark Side ability (Lightning, Mind Probe, Choke, etc) Maul would tell Cal of how the Sith were once weak, but under the Rule of Two were able to spend a thousand years evolving and growing stronger, while the Jedi remained trapped by tradition, which ultimately led to their downfall. Since the Mantis was recognized fleeing the prisoner transport, a bounty was posted for the capture of its crew, attracting the attention of bounty hunters like Embo, Bossk, Black Krrsantan, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, Dengar, IG-88, Cad Bane and a young Boba Fett. Cal and Maul make their way to Mustafar to another hidden temple that was currently being excavated by the Empire. Upon completely the trial, Cal learns the holocron they were looking for to destroy the Sith wasn't there, forcing them to infiltrate Vader's fortress. Upon entering the vault, they find out, too, that the holocron is not there. Maul seemingly abandons Cal when Vader attacks. After the battle, Cal uses mind probe to catch Vader off guard and hopefully learn of the holocrons' location. He learns that Vader does not know, and is horrified to learn from Vader's memories that he is, in fact, Anakin Skywalker. Maul brings the Mantis level with the fortress' hangars' take off ramp, allowing Cal to jump aboard and escape. Cal is broken at this point; having lost faith upon learning that someone as good as Anakin Skywalker could be as evil as Darth Vader. Maul remembers from his teachings that one of the older Sith Lords may have moved the holocron to a safer place to avoid discovery by the Jedi. They travel to the Temple on Malachor, but Cal refuses to enter inside; having grown suspicious of Maul after he seemingly abandoned him to die on Mustafar. Using mind probe again, he confirms his suspicions that Maul did abandon him, and intended to betray him after getting access to the knowledge that would destroy his old master. After an intense duel, Cal can't bring himself to kill Maul, fearing at last how far he'd journeyed down the Dark Side and instead simply maroons Maul on Malachor. Lost and on his own, Cal has no idea on what to do now. Upon meditating, the Force in the form of his old master tells Cal of one who can show him true balance between the light and the dark side. Cal is guided to a new planet where he meets the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano. Saying she is no longer a Jedi, she suggests perhaps the order was meant to end in order to give way to something new. She trains Cal as a Gray Jedi; harmonizing both the light and the dark side within him. BD calls Cal from the Mantis and plays a broadcast from the Holonet; showing Cal's friends were indeed alive and on Coruscant, scheduled for a public execution. Ahsoka warns him not to go. Cal flies to Coruscant and saves Trilla and Greez, but is informed that Cere is being held at the Imperial Palace, which used to be the old Jedi Temple. Cal breaks into the Palace and faces off with Vader again. Cal seemingly defeats Vader and breaks into the office, leaping before Palpatine and holding his lightsaber to his throat, demanding Cere be released. Palpatine shows Cere was close by, but begins to laugh. Cal is frozen up into the air by Vader, who had faked his defeat earlier. Palpatine thanks Cal for providing him exactly what he needed, which is why he will spare him, but sees no reason to do so with Cere. Cere is killed and Cal is thrown out the window. Having been rescued by Trilla and Greez, Cal learns from the Holonet that the Senate was going to introduce a bill that would extend mercy to the Jedi and cease hostilities via Order 66. But thanks to doctored footage of Cal seemingly attempting an assassination attempt on Palpatine, not only was the bill destroyed, but Palpatine's proposal to double the Empire's efforts in exterminating the Jedi gained approval.

Just let us fight rebel alliance soldiers for once like in the first force unleashed game and dismember them too since it’s never been done before in a Star Wars game, also give us an extra free game mode where we can play as almost anyone we want and use purge troopers for example to fight Jedi, rebel soldiers or droids etc.

@@BloodandlatexFX my biggest problem with Star Wars nowadays (aside from dumb agendas forced in) is the ridiculous need on making everything canon in some way which holds back a lot of creativity or interesting new stories that aren’t tied to the main timeline for example imagine getting a game or a series where order 66 doesn’t happen but a new threat arises to take the place of Sidious and CIS like getting an evil version of the rebel alliance or the Yuuzhon Vong or a mix of both etc.

I can totally see a cameo of Cal Kestis in the Kenobi tv show, even for just a few seconds... and the game to pick up Cal's story from that moment when Cal and Obi-Wan finishes their interaction. Could Ashoka teach Cals to weild 2 sabers (properly)? So we would still start with the same saber, but there would be a third option to keep the sabers split. Edit: in the Kenobi trailer, Obi-Wan is fighting his way out of somewhere. What if he is saved/picked up by the Mantis crew, similar to how Cere and Greez found Cals by listening to imperials' comms. The game would start from the moment they drop Obi-Wan to a safe place.

Just hope next game isn’t full MTX bs. I also hope next game is on UE5. I loved fallen order, but I do agree, last gen (PS4/Xbox) held the game back from looking beautiful and exploring more worlds. I do think should been semi more open world. Would liked visit major cities and see other species, shops/towns and ppl to chat with. Next game needs be on UE5. I do agree poncho I hated and didn’t give much customization, where the Jedi cloak with hood? That should been in game. Yeah I do hope we see Ahsoka and Obi Wan in next game. One of the best of the Disney era. The Lucas era was the Force Unleashed series. They were completely underrated for their time. Starkiller was so strong in the Force at that time being able to escape Vader and either kill Vader or the Emperor. Even minus the graphics and storytelling for it's time, it was far beyond what we can expect from Jedi Fallen Order 2. Cal killing Vader in Fallen Order 2 and having him show up in the Kenobi series makes no sense. They need to think things through before they start a game that will actually tie in to the Kenobi movie.

Vader can't be the antagonist because that would be a no-win scenario for Cal. We already know that Vader doesn't die before the second Death Star, and while he's likely defeated by Obi-Wan in the Kenobi show having Cal defeat him would do more harm than good. For one, Obi-Wan is only able to hold his own against Vader because he knows his every move. Secondly, what's the point of Luke as the last hope if some random Jedi is able to defeat Vader? I think another inquisitor as the main antagonist would also not be a good idea, as it would be too close to the original. One idea I have is that Taron Malicos is freed. Another would be an origin story for the Knights of Ren. I used to think such a story would have to be post-OT, but then they appeared in the Crimson Reign comic. Ren himself would likely be a child at this point, but the antagonist could be his father or something. Maybe his father was also named Ren, or he created the Knights of Ren as guardians for his son. Or the antagonist could be Maul's apprentice. Perhaps Darth Talon? Either way, this could lead to a potential Maul cameo.

I'd really prefer that they didn't try and link in the sequel with the endless parade of Disney TV (which I consider questionable quality-wise), I really like how completely brand new FO was with characters while still leaning on some established aspects like Dathomir & Kashykk. The poncho's gotta go! I know some people like them but I think they looked garbage got rid of them & simply changed costume based on the planet's environment. Also a major letdown working on a tough to get chest just to find another F'ing poncho! What I'd like to see is lightsaber ability crystals like in Force Unleashed & actual Jedi costumes, I think players would lose their **** at the ability to wear Obi-wan or Anakin's robes + cloak in the game. Also hope they work out how to make Cal walk/run without looking like a hunchback & have the saber swing more effectively
