Good thing those weren’t acme pistols. You got lucky on that stage.Nice recovery.

That was a close one! But, it just took a half a second to think it through rather than pull that trigger on the wrong target and get a 10 second penalty.

After seeing the final score, even if you fouled up, you still would have won. Ps, I found myself laughing with everyone and cheering you while watching the awards.
@JEDiTVАй бұрын
@ At the time all of this was going down though, I wasn’t aware of the lead I had. I would look at the score and see he beat me and then I beat him on the next stage, etc, etc. I wasn’t doing the math or I would have seen that I was beating him by a little more than he was getting me and that I was creating a comfortable lead. Honestly, if I had, it would have taken some of the suspense outta that award ceremony for me.

Really enjoyed this match! Overall....an 11, in my view. Those folks did an outstanding job. Overall theme, stage set up, use of props and pacing, etc., integrated smoothly, throughout. Nice work on Stage 9, Jed . I always like to see the first-person-view of the revolver part of any stage, too. Really draws the viewer into the action. Nice to see a couple of familiar faces there, too. Alberta Annie and hubby Southwest Trapper are well-known names on the Canadian cowboy action scene. Great shooters and fine folks, by any standard.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was a really fun match to shoot and, as you could tell, I had a really great posse!

Wow! What a fun looking shoot! Stage writing was creative and I loved the stage props. Good shooting Jedi. You had a comfortable cushion in time between you and second place.

I appreciate that! That match was a lot of fun, and I when I was shootin’ the match I honestly felt like they, specifically Marcus, was breathing down my neck.

You rose to the challenge, well done! I liked the Saturday morning cartoon theme and there were some good sequences in the match as well. You don't often see three shotgun targets on a stage, but why not?

Great looking match. You won your category by a good margin! Good shootin’.!👍🏻

Yes, I did pretty well in that match! It felt like the competition was breathing down my neck so I really ramped it up that 2nd day.

Jedi, when you picked up your rifle, the action was closed. I assume that happened due the placement when you put it down. Is that a minor, or as long as you show it clear, all good?
@JEDiTVАй бұрын
Showing clear it’s “all good”. That’s why I stepped so the RO could see it - technically I should not have been blocking his view when I initially opened the lever. But, I wasn’t sure what his view was when I opened it.
@abee.s.corpus2455Ай бұрын
The rule changed several years ago. As long as the long gun is cleared of all ammo and spent cases/hulls, it's a "no call". That does not prevent members of the peanut gallery from yelling "open it, open it" at times.

How can you collect your brass at a match like this?
@JEDiTVАй бұрын
Good question@@jimmyvalhalla1939 If you watch when I am done shooting there will be several folks run up to the line with little picker-sticks (those ones you squeeze and they have pinchers at the other end). They collect your brass and bring it to you at the unloading table. Keep an eye out for ‘em and you’ll see ‘em. 👍
