Thanks for the video. I am currently building something similar for my XJ just with a sleeping platform on top. I didn´t think about counter sinking the screws before so that is something that I will definetly be doing. Cheers.

Clean! Think we’ve all found ourselves here because we’re looking to under take a similar project. 2 questions, what was that part you used to anchor the box&anything you would have changed?

Thank you. I used a turnbuckle to fasten it to the two anchors points in the trunk. Only thing i would change is use a little thicker plywood and i ended up changing the latches out. I have a video on the update. Thanks for watching.

It would be a tight fit. But i think u would need to install a passenger seat from a 2 door xj so you can fold it forward. I think there ia a video of someone who has done it.

Yeah it was a good upgrade for sure. Box ended up being 24in deep 11in tall and i wanna say about 38in wide. I built it to fit between the wheel wells basically. Hope that helps.

Howdy. Hey, do your drawers slide open at all when accelerating or offroad? I also am thinking of the turn buckles to hold the drawer down.
