If the plastic on the fluid reservoirs is too thick or too dirty to see the inside oil level, one trick is to place your cellphone light against the outside of the reservoir. When it lights up it becomes much easier to see the oil level.

Great content Rob. Any chance you can do a video on how to jump start and charge the Gladiator? I’m reading conflicting info on the forums with some saying you have to disconnect the auxiliary battery otherwise you can’t jump it if both are drained. I know your first Gladiator had issues with the batteries. I’m betting you’re the right guy to ask! Thanks

It jumps easily with both drained. Mine were drained at 11k, replaced under warranty. I had to jump it several times before getting to the dealer, no problems. I am going to buy one of those small portable jumpers for next time though.

Fluids and filters I try to keep up with myself; but I outsource the oil changes and such. These things aren't like my '78 Ford where I could crawl into the engine compartment! 😁

You should let your vehicle run for 30 seconds then check the oil level, oil level is always higher when it’s been sitting. And your coolant reservoir looked a little low

Last 2-3 years I’ve been running distilled water with 1 tablespoon of car wash soap per gallon for the windshield washer. Decided I didn’t want the alcohol that is the antifreeze on the finish. Yeah I can go real OCD on the weirdest things. See your engine bay is like mine and it gets dusty under there 😊.

Don't use dish soap --- it is a de-greaser and takes the wax off your paint. Grab a bottle of OEM from the dealership (it will last years) or grab some other specially designed cleaner/additive and save your paint.
