Thanks for posting this video. Everything is very clear and thorough. I disassembled everything on my 2007 Liberty and reached the top of the tube only to find that it is a different connection to the top and it has some kind of fancy zip-tie around it, unlike the normal kind. :( I tried to wiggle it off, but ended up shaking the whole car because it's held so tightly so I might just leave it in place. I'm hoping I can just use a narrow brush in the top of the tube when the sunroof is open and then blast any of the remaining debris out with air.

My experience is, it gets clogged in the first few inches, if you can break it up, it will blow out with air. Just don't go full blast with the air... then rinse with a bit of soapy water. Good luck and let me know how you make out.

I was successful getting it cleared! I used a 1/4" wide brush with a jar of hot soapy water and scrubbed about 7" down the tube, rinsed and re-scrubbed twice. We had a storm too, actually while I was trying to clear the tubes, and everything kept dry. Now I'm ready for the next hurricane here in Florida. Thanks a lot!

I have a 2010 liberty and I'm getting water saturation and flooding in both my driver and passenger floorboards. Will the cowl drains be at same spot as yours? Please help. It's rainy season where I'm at and it's super annoying.

HI, I have a 2009 Jeep liberty with a sky slider, no glass, it's a hard top and I tried to find the drains and I do not see that they have any. Please help.

Hi Angelica, they should be I'm the same area, the holes are small and if they are really clogged, could almost blend in and be invisible. Get a shop vac and edge tool and go around the sill/drain area. It should suck out the dirt and clog.

@@GarageMahalLife thank you, I took it to a shop, they pulled the liner off, the car doesn't have those drains. I see where the water is coming through, it's some holes that are on the car panel but this car does not have any drain plugs.

@@angelicagarciasaavedra9515 Interesting, they are supposed to. Sometimes the holes get so filled they "blend" in and are almost camouflaged from the dirt and debris. But if they pulled the panels and nothing was there, was it removed??

@@GarageMahalLife no idea. At this point we are just opting to cover the sunroof with marine vinyl and call it a day. The shop said they could remove the sunroof entirely and replace it with a regular roof but the cost is $2000. Not doable for me

Back corners, small, you'll need a flashlight and a glass of water to follow the flow around the drain system.
