I have this exact wheel in 17/8.5 on my diesel jt on 39 BFGs and it has been to lots of cool places down to 3 psi in deep snow, 8 psi in rock and across the desert at 40+ mph @ 14psi and zero issues. Absolutely love them. Like you, mine are chewed and I wish theyd offer a replaceable rash ring version

I love my 703's. Have them on a late model 100 series Land Cruiser and give me a ton of confidence with such a heavy truck.

Thanks for the review boys! They work great but still can't believe they held air that well after the accident you had with them! CRAZY

Nice review I had a super stock old dirt track racer tell me a lil super glue on the bead will hold bead on with low-pressures Slight illegal for their race and you'll regret it when trying to pop the bead removing tire but holds You can see even on the inside the bead The valley profile on the rim is very shallow so even if some how the bead did miraculously slip past the ridge it still seals on rim My zj has old Micky Thompson's bullet holes and they machined a flat spot for the valve stem to seat and it slightly cut into bead ring and 1 of the tires even with a tire machine and a bead blaster was difficult to get to seal and pop the bead on if that ever pops a bead on trail I feel I'll be screwed I got to save up for set of these I hope that tire

I know this is an older video, but any suggestions on mounting? I've had my 703s with E-Class Toyo OCs (just a 245/75/16) to 3 different shops and none have been able to seat the upper/outer bead. Firestone, an off-roading shop, and a shop that works on tractor-trailers and actual tractors. None have seen the Bead-Grip before and none no what to do with it. Any suggestions? TIA

Rally tires have very stiff sidewalls and are very stubborn. I was helping out at a rally race when the tire pro used silicone spray and profanity when standard bead lube didn't work. (He also wasn't afraid to use 120 PSI to seat the bead on those particular tires. I was definitely cringing.) I would try silicone spray, maximum recommended 40 PSI (for liability reasons) and a big rubber mallet. As a last resort, I would consider mounting the wheel on your rig and roll around the parking lot, but I'm an idiot with bad ideas.

I have the 703's and loving them. I guess the only complaint I have is that you can't tell the trail series wheels. I wish they had a little something on there wheels to let you or others know what you really have. LOL

Why do you care what other people know you have?
@corksauve49492 жыл бұрын
@@KurNorock I don't, but I get looks when I air down to 10 psi. Then I get asked if I'm worried about loosing my seal.

I just bought some 704s for my Power Wagon....I hope that I can get to about 20psi...safely! Thanks for the review!

I've had my 703's down to 8psi on the trail. But that's in a jeep wrangler 2door.

@@corksauve4949ive run my diesel gladiator down to 8 psi in crazy rocks without issue and the power wagon isn’t really that much heavier. You should be fine im using a C rated sidewall and you have D/Es

I’m going to buy one soon, what i get you recommend that vs. bead lock?
@redwrangleradventures81412 жыл бұрын
We don’t recommend this wheel over a bead lock. Just showing that it’s better than a conventional wheel.
