ohh so its not supposed to be split down the middle... Mine started leaking pretty bad in the rear and I found all the water coming from that little crack..

I have a 2009 wrangler jk, I have a gap in between my tailgate and rear window seal, when I wash the Jeep water gets in and it already has the rubber seals but they’re not long enough

A jk is a totally different setup in regards to the tailgate and top seam. I don’t have a jk so I can’t compare them side by side but I am sure there is a seal there you can replace to fix your leak :)

What seal do you have on the liftgate itself? The horizontal seal that works with the bottom of the glass...

So are you referring to the seal on the bottom of the glass or on the metal tailgate ?:)

@@SteverGarage The tailgate itself...You have added a piece of weatherstripping that (Im guessing) makes a better seal with the glass

@chrisb6865 So I used this amzn.to/4aKr6nA The tailgate closes pretty hard and takes a tug to open but it seals way better This is also an option that’s better amzn.to/3TJUfZI They work great on my hard top around the doors

My rear glass is leaking from the top seal, I replaced it but it’s still leaking, what should I do

Are you sure it’s coming from the top? There is the seal that goes around Then the glass lower seal Then the tailgate has one as well

I think u need to remove the soft top clips

I have always kept mine on, they give the glass something to rest in when closing and (I believe) gives a better seal...
