I built a long arm radius arm setup. Hope to trail test it in the coming weekends

Put in a brass bolt and fully weld it. Brass will keep the thread integrity and won’t stick in from the heat

Right on. I am newish to welding and learning. I am always nervous I will heat warp the threads and the threads will be jacked up. I will keep this in mind on the next project for sure. Thanks fo the info

Just found your build ive been watching a lot of your tj videos. Lots of great info! I to will be swapping in a hp 44 from a 76 150. I was curious since you did a 250 housing with a the 5 lug 150 knuckles do you still have a 67" wms or is it back to 65". I have a 150 housing with the 250 8 lug outers and dual piston brakes and wasnt exactly sure where the extra 2 inches comes from, the tubes or the knuckles. The 250 44 with 8 lug from factory was 67" instead of 65". Hope that makes sense. Anyways keep up the good videos ill be subscribing.

Thank ya. I just built some long radius arms on the front so will have trail videos soon I hope. Yeah, if I remember correctly, the 1977.5-79 f250 had the same outer shafts length as the f150 76-79 had. For some reason I was thinking I am at 66 but that might be the JKUR width...but the thing about the 77.5-79 f250 was the stub shaft lengths so it was just a knuckle swap.
