when you lifted the cage off it triggered a memory of that old show where they show how magic tricks are done, they created the illusion of a San Francisco trolly floating and then disappearing by making a thin medal frame that perfectly matched the outline of it. then covering it with a sheet,

With a bit of planning you could make it removable like some motorcycle frames are.... weld some smaller tube inside the base piece, or conversely a larger piece, for the top section to telescope into. Useful for such things as windshield replacement etc.

Nice work fellas. I was wondering if it would make it off - being a little thinner at the bottom. Cage looks great. Nice to see Bleepin Matt do work - colt did 93.5% of the lifting on that last little series, in a small garage. Nothing like your garage-mahal. I think next should be to take some Bleepin cash and hook colt up with a 30x50 or 40 x 50 shop.

That cage is really nice i like it. Ive never been a big wj fan im a xj guy and if i ever had a grand cherokee it would probably be a zj. But you guys have actually made this wj very likeable and have kinda changed my mind on them i like it a lot. The time you guys put into making the cage follow the body curves and stuff really does look good. I also like what you guys are doing with the fenders thats really neat. The wj is so curvy and flowing and its really difficult to heavily modify that type of vehicle and keep it nice without a hack job look and i think you guys did perfect. I was skeptical of the front end like the headlights and everything but i think everything will tie together well. It is looking like a well thought out rig and again that cage really ties everything together nicely it was well worth the time and effort to follow the body curves and flow with the vehicle.

Looking good so you were worried about the ability to get to the screen to clean it, I hope you have a plan for screen replacement !!!!!, of cause as the screen is cracked badly replacing it while the exo-cage is removed would be a smart move now would'nt it hmmm. Love the headlight alternative.
@BJCampbell Жыл бұрын
I’ve always wondered. Once fully welded, I don’t understand how you would remove the cage in the future? Guessing cutting existing welds. If you busted a windshield or side window, how would you service?
