Yes, big difference in mpg from 60 to 70 mph. And any wind will detract too. Wrangler models are a factor too. Models with raised open front fenders, Rubi and Willys will get worse mpgs. From rented Wranglers I have driven, running boards seem to help mpgs too as it smooths out airflow. Gearing is different on all models. Sport has like 3:76, Willys 4:10, Rubi XR pkg 4:56. Makes a difference. My 22 Rubi with XR pkg will get 21 in town and 21 on the hwy? Hwy speeds around 70. All bets are off with faster speeds. Thats on level ground no wind. One time headed uphill to Flagstaff on I-40 from NM, big headwind, 70 mph was getting 14 to 17 mpg.
