I love the freedom of the soft top, but I put my hard top back on because I think it LOOKS so much better and is more practical.

I did like the looks of the SuperTop Ultra best because of the old school square back.

Maybe the next upgrade, the sound dampening spray on interior liner and adhesive foam insulation for the roof. I've heard it makes a significant improvement in lowering the temperature and road noise.

I like having my hardtop and A/C for the few months that it hits triple digits in SoCal. The rest of the year (barring a few days of rain) I'm running a Safari length shade top. The Jeep isn't my daily any longer so I don't really have the security concerns. Also, it's always nice to see an AutoEdits vidya in my feed. 👍🏻

Let me share my setup with you: Factory Hardtop without the freedom panels, instead, the Bestop Sunrider for hardtop. Second, the Hothead Headliners under the hardtop. Last but not least, a rear cargo cover. I think you’ll like this setup, especially the Sunrider. PS Great camera man!!

I think they do make a small convertable top that you can use with the hardtop. It goes in place of the freedom panels.

Here in the upper midwest I run the hard top most of the time, even with the doors off. I added a 3rd brake light int my hard top above the hatch that plugs in with an oem plug. How about painting the inside of the top with the Duplicolor? The white is so out of place with the rest of your super well detailed Jeepb!

I use the handle hooks that came with the fridge and strap it to the seat bracket and rear built in cargo hook.

All you would need is the center section of the MetalCloak bumper kit. Was going to put it on Craigslist this week but if you might make use of it... it's yours. I've been considering going to a hard top. I've wondered though, can the rear window be removed completely, or just swung up? I have a 2dr so rolling up the rear window is super handy for long cargo or just getting air flow for the jeep. I'd imagine you wouldn't want to drive with the hardtop glass up and bouncing on the struts.

The back glass can be unbolted fairly easily and I've driven from the hardware store home with it open a couple of times with no problem.

Once I pulled the cover off and saw how faded and dirty this thing was... I almost put it on craigslist...LOL Glad to have it for now! Options are nice but the storage is tricky.

Thanks! I found that the Sunrider is the most used element and I really missed having the back glass. Two reasons for not running the roof rack immediately... first up... I gave my rack away to a buddy years ago 😂and I'm also watching every millimeter of height to fit in parking structures (for hopeful acting work if I survive this strike)

If u need to renew plastics and trim on a vehicle a hand torch works wonders, no prep or anything. It will bring the original shine right back out
