Thank you SO much for this review and install - just got mine today and the install was a breeze. A couple notes though ... it now comes with a little tube of red thread locker for the 13mm bolts (of course check all torque after a hundred miles or so) AND before you install put one end on the ground, grab the shock and push down so that some of the rod is showing on both sides. Sounds obvious, but leave it to me to not do that at first (bolt holes won’t line up otherwise). Test driving it now (stopped in a parking lot) and very early impressions are it’s fantastic!

Warning! During the removal of the OEM stabilizer, if you are using an impact tool on the RIGHT SIDE, do not put your fingers blindly behind the bracket to hold the nut. That nut has a wing on it and if it starts spinning, could take off a finger. I have two severely injured fingers as a result. The same thing happened to my son on his install. I wish he had warned me!

It's in a poor location for rough offroad. They should have made it to flip over the tie rod. Yes, I have one, and yes it's as good as the stock, if not better. If you go Steer Smarts tie rod, this will NOT convert, per Teraflex. In a lot of ways it's a fail if you plan on upgrading. The 2.2 one for the JK is promising for steering upgrades.

Does this at all in anyway, shape or form, correct the sloppy steering of my new 2018 JL?? If so where do I buy one

The stock stabilizer is designed to be a little bit on the loose side if you upgrade to this one you will notice a bit stiffer response when hitting potholes however it will not fix any kind of issues you may have on your tie rod drag link or front track bar.

Robert, there are those on jeep forums that were pleased with the results. I ordered the Fox ATS stabilizer for JL but don't have delivery as yet. Good luck.

It's nice and all but that shaft protruding to the other side will get fucked on the trail.
