The calls you heard were from an American Pika btw. They aren't birds and are a really interesting alpine species native to the west coast.

Yup, we googled it and figured that out afterwards. But they are pretty cool.

Great stuff guys! We diverted our $500 Cherokee to Evan's ORV after the WA Gambler got cancelled 12 hours before it was suppose to start! We had a challenging and memorable trip all over Evans, including a bunch of the obstacles in the vid. Keep the vids coming! and for pity sake replace that poor PS pump!

Awesome. Always great stories from wheeling up there. Thanks for watching and supporting us.

Awesome to see more local wheelers! Saw the rig briefly at tahuya once doing a rock garden at the big lake area. Did you have any issues regarding width at evans creek? I hear there are restrictions
@MuddyBeards4X44 жыл бұрын
Thanks, we barely squeeze in there but it’s fine. Some trails have rocks they use as width restrictions and some metal post, but I have never had any problems there.

I did the whole trail on mountain bike. It was very difficult.

Looked like fun! Was that "noise" the tire rubbing against your body?
@MuddyBeards4X46 жыл бұрын
To be honest I haven’t figured it out yet, lol. Have to do another check on the Jeep to see if I can figure it out.

Nice. Saw your other vid walk around with stock engine. Tell me that’s a 4 cylinder! Have a 99 Tj, just adding lockers and sway bar disconnects. Se tho

👊🏻 not the 4 banger, it’s the 4.0, thanks for watching.

I'm guessing you power steering pump was not happy cause of the spool?
@MuddyBeards4X46 жыл бұрын
A lot of factors..old reman pump, with 36” tires, hard 4 Wheeling for years on it. Heat is a huge factor, it gets noisier the hotter the fluid gets. And also the spool probably doesn’t help. Considering putting a cooler in to see if it helps. Should probably just put hydro assist, but that costs $.

It's always more fun to watch these when you recognize every part of the trail.. haha. You definitely made it as difficult as possible at 6:15. I choose a different line to the right that was much easier (granted, it was dry). See: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmipeqGljdOCaq8
@MuddyBeards4X46 жыл бұрын
Yea, I usually stay to the right as well, but it had just rained and the rock was a little slippery, I didn’t feel like flopping that morning, lol.
