I actually enjoyed the video! Something I noticed my 2013 FJ cruiser TT doesn’t have is the backup camera cover which I noticed on Austin’s FJ. Now I’m gonna go get one. Thanks for the video!

That was great! Fun to watch. Is that the same FJ where you trashed mirrors and door. Can't remember where you were but I remember it looked like a deep trench you were in. Awesome stuff. I would be afraid to take my 2013 FJ some of the places you go. But I will watch.

Great video and comparison, as a FJ owner, always felt that stock size tire with aggressive MT pattern and E rated stronger sidewalls along with better shocks and under body protection is quite a capable vehicle on its own with factory reliability as an added bonus.

For Austin I definitely recommend doing the bodymount chop and putting some 34ish inch tires. 35's require a lot more finessing. I'm running 285/75/17's. When I put my aftermatket UCA's I needed a negative offset wheel or some 1.25inch wheel spacers.

I just finished up my lift; 2.5” in the front and 1.5” in the back. I want to keep my wheels but upgrade to either 285/75/16s or ideally 295/75/16s

I wonder how your SAS'd FJ on 42s would do playing with my SAS'd H3 on 37s. I bet you would show me a thing or 3 (probably more). I just love seeing SAS'd vehicles in the same place :) I love your build! :) I've been to Elbe once and I was definitely impressed with what the Gotcha trail had to offer a stock rig on 35s

You missed all the difficult trails. The busy wild is considered the easywild now. Over by the boat ramp are some legit trails and rock climbs.

Nah it's definitely more fun now! I was so sad not even being able to try things like the log jam and all the rock gardens. That's why I did the build! I was tired of passing everything up!

After watching some of your videos I now know to skip your area lol. My full size square body suburban I’m turning into a overlander just wouldn’t fit on those trails that are nothing but deep ruts. I don’t really see trails like this on the east coast .
