I have a 95 xj leaking from the same place. I thought it was the rear main seal but looks like I'm dropping my tcase soon.

Have you ever heard of the 231 only having 5 studs instead of 6? Did a recent oil seal service on a YJ that I just bought and it only had 5 studs. The sixth location had a small threaded plug that looked original. Anyone else notice this before? Or know why? 1995 2.5l 5spd

This is really off topic but would be greatly appreciated if you could answer. How what chemicals do you use in your Costco pool??????
@JeepSolid5 жыл бұрын
Hey. That's ok. I keep the chemicals pretty simple. I just add a packet of Shock to bring the chlorine levels up to where they need to be, then I use the test strips to see if i need anything else. It usually shows I just need Ph+ booster as well. Chlorine makes it too acidic. I listed what I use below 👍 Chlorine Shock: amzn.to/2T6rB26 Water Quality Test Strips: amzn.to/2UwwBOR PH Booster: amzn.to/31sEYiF

Got a 98 TJ. 4th gear pops out when decelerating. What would that be possibly you think? I just replaced the clutch and it was doing it occasionally before also.

When I switched my Jeep tj 03 sport from 4wd L to 2wd it lost power and started pouring transmission fluid. Can someone please help with advice and experiences.

New seals! Thats awesome. It is great feeling to get rid of leaks! I hope we don't have to wait until next Friday for part 2 to come out! Can I get your opinion on ball joints? I am going to replace mine on my Dana 30 on my 94' YJ. I ordered upper and lower Moog.....I almost ordered Spicer. I find good and bad opinions on both online. The pricing on Amazon for the Moog ball joints was really good....all four came to around $120.00 I thought Moog was really good stuff but reading some of the comments online makes me nervous.
@JeepSolid5 жыл бұрын
I think Moog has good overall reputation. I'd order from them.

Transmission output seal is pretty easy, t-case input is a little harder. You can do it!
