Jeepers Creepers Reborn unfolds as the Horror Hound Festival holds its first ever event in Louisiana, where it attracts hundreds of geeks, freaks and die-hard horror fans from far and wide. Among them is fanboy Chase and his girlfriend Laine, who is forced to come along for the ride. But as the event approaches, Laine begins to experience unexplained premonitions and disturbing visions associated with the town’s past, and in particular, local legend/urban myth The Creeper. Gore gore gore, the protagonist wins, rinse then repeat. The only cool thing about the 80's were the neon lights and hair. Other than that most 'horror' was like watching a comedy. We peaked after films like In In The Mouth Of Madness and The Mothman Prophecies in terms of Horror/Thriller. This is why these new movies always fail at the box office. Been a fan of jeepers creepers since it came out in 2001 I was 14 years old me and my dad went to go see it in theaters, it gave me nightmares which just means it was a good horror movie I haven't had nightmares since I saw child's play in the late 90s. I'm glad they are keeping the franchise going, the last one that came out in 2017 was filmed in my hometown baton rouge and I got to see jeepers creepers in real life the costume looked so authentic to the point it scared you.

The comics gave somewhat a bastory for the Creeper, but nothing that tells us who or what it is. In one of the comics, a college boy discovers that the Creeper was around the time of the Aztecs. One reason why the Aztecs sacrificed humans, so that they would not suffer the Creeper's wrath. Then meeting an American indian, he was told that the Creeper existed long before mankind. So, it could be a demon for all we know. It eats human flesh and takes the body parts for its own. Everyone killed by the Creeper stay with the Creeper, like a purgatory. Their souls never move on. The college boy see's the Creeper's history and ends up forming a link with the creature, only to die at the end of the comic. You see his soul stuck, along with the countless victims in a purgatory, all centered around the Creeper.

As a huge fan of the first two I think this trailer looks great. But I know no matter what the movie is it will be hated because it’s not exactly like the first two, people just isn’t happy unless they have something to hate on. And it seems as though quite everyone here has already made up their minds about what they think of it, and some did before the trailer. So it’s not even going to get a fair shot, and that bothers me. Idk how people laugh at some movies for being cliche, and then ask for movies to be exactly like previous ones made. That’s cliche, going a new route is what was needed after the third movie imo. They had to distance themselves from Victor, from his writing to his creeper. So yes it will be different.

I think after watching Jeepers Creepers 2 fans expected the 3rd Movie to piggyback off the ending of 2 Jeepers Creepers waking up and the Old man waiting for him after fans didn’t get that it was disappointing myself included but that’s just my opinion 🤷🏾‍♂️

The acting doesn’t look bad at all smh, is it the best I’ve ever seen? No it’s not, but I’ve seen some iconic movies with way worse acting than this. And as far as it being low budget, so what? Most horror movies are low budget including the first couple of these movies, including all 80s movies everyone loves now. A low budget film is ok, as long as it doesn’t have abunch of crappy CGI which this one doesn’t seem to have. And before I judge the acting or how low budget it looks I’ll definitely have to see more than this, like maybe some of the kills and stuff like that, the important parts, I’m sure there is a whole lot more story to this movie than the trailer shows that will explain more about the creeper and why it’s there as well, at least I hope.

It's not that people wanted it to be exactly like the first 2, it's the fact that fans wanted either a conclusion zor backstory to exactly what the Creeper is, and that's where the story was headed. Now, we're getting a completely different creeper and will not find out about what the Creeper's origins are, and if Trish will get her revenge. It's someone else's vision. That's what has fans upset.

Looks 10x better than the 3rd, More interesting than the 2nd, and almost as Scary as the 1st. The 1st was intense, hopefully this one is too. Those saying that it looks trash are only saying it because it doesn't follow the original which is good because he can only do so much on the road. I can see why they did like a remake in this. Here’s the way I look at it. Obviously it’s low budget seeing as how they’re limiting the action to inside a house. Less CGI for them to worry about. NOW. If everyone decides not to watch the movie based off this trailer then they won’t make enough money to afford a better sequel. I say just see it in theaters and show some support and hopefully we can get something better next time.
