Cassie & Ben... I'm new to your channel, and new to Jeeps. I just recently bought my first Jeep, a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. And while searching for Gladiator videos, I stumbled upon yall's channels. I just put a 2.5"/1.0" Skyjacker lift on it, and my 37x13.50r20 Kumho RV KL71 tires, and 20x10 Moto Metal wheels (I like a little "show" with my "go". 😏) came in today. Along with my Fab Fours Stubby front bumper, and my old trusty Warn 9.5XP that I've had BNIB for about 15 years just waiting for a new home. I'll be installing most of the stuff tomorrow if I'm off work due to rain. I haven't been this excited about a project in a long time. 👍🏻 I am not new to the offroad game, but it has been a number of years since my last build...And I still have several half-complete projects laying around (money got tight for a number of years). One tool that I would highly recommend for doing modifications like this... A Hypertherm plasma cutter. It will save your ears and your arms from using that grinder so much. 👍🏻

Just FYI, it'd be a good idea to add some vertical material to the coil mounts on the frame. Flat plate bends easy, but if you were to do a piece either on the top or bottom that added to it vertically, (flat stock bent to shape and welded) it would help a LOT for support.

The PowerStop pads work well, however next time skip the drilled and slotted rotors. The heat reduction some people associate with drilled and slotted rotors is actually false, the less material (mass) in the rotor, the less it will dissipate heat. Drilled and slotted are also give you weak areas in the rotor geometry, which have been found to be prone to cracking. They were developed to release the gasses that pads of the past would produce, to keep the pad in contact with the rotor surface instead of hovering over a layer of gas. However modern pad compounds don't off gas as pads of the past did. The only benefit to drilled and slotted rotors today, are static and dynamic weight savings.
