I too have a 92! Three beautiful daughters and a wife!! They can all drive stick other than the youngest and she’s only 12 so won’t be long!!! My wife would kill me if I ever sold the old Jeep!

I didnt even know they made a gasket for between the trans and case. Like you mentioned its not needed really since the input shaft seal is supposed to keep anything from leaking in that cavity. Im not sure if the Auto has the same weep hole or not but its designed to let you know that the seal is smoked, rather than fill up that cavity with fluid. Glad it worked out for ya
