Jeet Kune Do é feito para as ruas. É feito pra uma briga real, até porque é um sistema de luta muito violento, não possui regras e nem limites. Os alunos são ensinados a bater em pontos críticos do corpo, em uma luta real. Como as virilhas, olho, nariz e joelho, não poderia de modo algum ser usado no MMA ou UFC, até porque iria contra a própria filosofia do sistema, de não se prender a limites e regras em uma luta, usar tudo de vantagem ao seu favor.

Cant believe he didn’t call you guys out, this was bad, Joaquin Marcello is better, I trained with Tommy he is only focused on the straight lead which is great but when fighting taller opponents its clear that tactics of JKD have to adapt. I mean bruce showed that in game of death!

He is NOT only focused on the straight lead...You clearly have not trained with him extensively. In drills he clearly uses different weapons at different ranges...Straight Lead with fencer footwork to get weapons to target but also boxing in closer range if this fails. Uppercuts, hooks etc & evasive upper body movement. Anyone can go onto his FB page & see these drills to know that your statement is NOT true.

I can see where you are coming from if all you have seen of him is this video montage. However having said that, do you want the address of Tommys school? Then you can read your initial comment to his face? I have trained with him and Ted Wong and Jessie Glover. All great sifus'. This video was just a short montage of highlights. First you have to be taught the fundamentals. Then you apply it to real life situations. You have to adapt to the situation at hand eg a drunken fool in a club or on the street with a knife. BTW If the guy has a knife then run like fuk!
