No one plays like Jeff Beck!...his so versatile in all genres...I'm partial to his jazz yrs..loved his collaboration with Jan Hammer!

What I love about this clip is the sheer respect Page and Beck seem to have for one another. Beck looked up at the podium at one point looking like he was moved almost to tears listening to Page. And the way Page finished off his speech - pounding the podium and saying "Come on up Jeff" - was great, like he's saying "The Hall has finally come to its senses and here's your well-earned prize."

I love Jeff & even wrote into the R&RHoF a few years ago asking why he wasn't in the Hall as a solo artist. I know the cliche of better late than never, but honestly Jeff was in the Yardbirds & released 2 insturmental albums that charted fairly highly on the charts. All the while making music with a WHOS WHO. He is THE guitarist's guitarist. I firmly believe that there is NO ONE better at playing a guitar than Jeff Beck...ever.

I was in Cleveland in 2009 for the ceremony. One of the best days in my life. BTW I agree with you 100%: Jeff Beck is the GOAT Guitarist in my book as well.

He's only the greatest to ever pick up a guitar. You may like certain riffs from other guitarists and/or songs, but he is simply the BEST.

Nice to see some clips of Jeff performing songs from Guitar Shop, a very underated album of his from the late 80s. He had a great band helping him including drummer Terry Bozzio.

His playing at around 3:32 is my favorite part of my favorite version of "Brush with the Blues" - from his 1999 appearance on Later with Jools Holland.

The montage has probably my favorite few seconds of "Brush with the Blues" ever - 3:37-3:52.

7:55 a very genuine embrace… I also love that Jimmy has white hair and a black suit, while Jeff has black hair and a white suit… 🔳🔲

The bit at 3:52 is Nadia from his 2001 album You Had It Coming. I have most all of his stuff and my favorite is the Ronnie Scott's DVD.

I swear, that bit at 3:52 gets me every time. It's just... amazing. Perfection. Any idea what it is? If it is anything that is; he could just be flaunting his godliness xD Any help would be much appreciated! I've just started to get into his stuff, and I'm loving it.

Christopher Guest told Beck “it’s not you. I modeled the Nigel character after some rockers I’d seen in a hotel lobby”. But who knows….

Quite pathetic for HoF to show Spinal Tap. Funny movie, but the character has nothing in common with Jeff except the accent.
