This is the probably the best band Jeff Beck ever had. He’s played with the best but there is something about the chemistry of this line up. Their skill level and talent is out of this world but the chemistry is what really does it.

Jeff picked with his fingers around 1980, but uses one sometimes. I caught on in the nineties without one, and the same. Difference is that Jeff is fantastic!

I actually heard that’s sort of why he stopped using a pick. He would drop them a lot on stage and just start playing with his hands. Eventually he said to hell with a pick! Hasn’t looked back since

it was recorded live on god only knows what kind of vid camera... sometimes the mic on a camera is a condenser mic, which mean when the music starts the mic "shrinks up" and doesnt allow the music to overdrive onto the tape..

i just listened to this through my laptop plugged into a hot stereo set up....it's not that bad...if you're using a smart phone thats the problem you cant get frequency responses necessary to do it justice through tiny little "speakers" on a phone
