Nothing but respect for Jeff. He did what he wanted, didn't care about "hits" or fame. Amazing guitarist and will be missed very much. I'll always remember him for the white Strat with the modified whammy

For me the iconic Jeff Beck guitar will always be his white 1954 Fender Esquire that he bought from John Walker and later sold to Seymour Duncan.

When I was a little brat at 13 trying so hard to play guitar ; to even understand his music, was so advanced. I completely wore out blow by blow. I did buy the music book btw! I'm gonna have to pull it out again, after all these years of giving up on it. I actually saw Jeff about three times. RIP Mr. Jeff Beck. The true Paggininni of the Strat . As a teenager, I went to a party and the host put on a record. It stopped me in my tracks... mesmerized! WOW. I was hooked. Never heard anything like it.Who is that? It was Jeff Beck's Situation from Rough and Ready. I sat down fast and absorbed that entire album. Studied the cover. Bought it next day and wore it out. Truly a great LP. Just incredible. Then hooked on the rest of Jeff's brilliance and mastery. RIP Mr Beck.

I awoke to the "Soul-Crushing" news that the master of the Talking Guitar, Jeff Beck has passed. For the entire guitar playing community, this news is devastating. This man was more than a legend, he was a Mt Rushmore level guitarist and innovator. He was the most difficult guitarist to imitate of all-time. Jeff had such a complete and utter mastery of the instrument, it appeared when performing live that he was merely "Toying" with the guitar. I had the tremendous honor of seeing "The Man" play live on his Guitar Shop tour with Stevie Ray Vaughn. If you've never had the pleasure of hearing Jeff play the blues, you are in for a real treat, as he was one of the greatest blues players of all-time. It really bothered me to hear this sad news because Jeff has been touring and was playing better than ever. Having lost Eddie Van Halen just months ago, the entire guitar community is hurting big-time right now, as these legends simply can never be replaced. I hope now that Jeff will finally receive the respect, credit and adulation he's long deserved as the genius and Guitar God he is. Thank you Mr Beck for your inspiration, enormous talent and endless imagination. RIP and a Toast: "To the one and only Mr. Jeff Beck ladies and gentlemen!!" 😎🎸

Well, also, the longtime drummer community misses these mighty guitarists . Eddie, now Jeff, even as far back as Jimi Hendrix. These guys had a passion even us drummers found hard to grasp. But we had our legends too. Ginger Baker, Carmine Appice, just to name 2. I know there's many more. All these guitarists, drummers, vocalists had one passion. Make damn good music professionally, so people will appreciate what they hear.

Spectacular guitarists extraordinaire. I have 1 CD in my ride Blow by Blow. Got hooked on JB back in High School one night driving around with my buddy in a thunderstorm on shrooms listening to Beck Bogart and Apiece.....WOW ! The rest is history. Just once watched JB play at the House of Blues in South Carolina and recently was getting ready to go see him again before time goes by. Truly a sad day for us who have been a JB fans and he seemed like a humble guy also.

TRUTH changed my life. Him and Rod Stewart performing Shape of Things, Morning Dew and Ol' Man River will forever be favorites that transformed me and influenced my 52 years on this planet. In 1994, driving an illegally obtained pickup truck across country, from Georgia to California, expired plates, no seat belts, I had a cassette player duct taped to my dashboard. I saved the last of my dying D battery with just enough power left to play Beck's Ol' Man River as I was crossing the Mississippi.

Technicians at the stratospheric level, bodybuilders of the handle, there are plenty of them these days. Jeff Beck made him sing his guitar.
