I think Jeff Beck is actually playing his soul through his guitar. He lays it all out. Expertly. Every time. He was such a soulful musician. No one else like him. Completely unique. A past-master of tone and timbre. RIP Jeff! 3:59

@@bazglsgw1208 I agree with Eric and Jimmy. The problem, as Jimmy said, is that "Jeff keeps getting better and better." The other two, however, haven't been at "the top of [their games]" since the late '60's/early '70's. "Emotion and Commotion" (2012), "Loud Hailer " (2016) and even the "Isolation" single released last year where Jeff was "weighed down" by Johnny Depp are better than anything Clapton or Page have done in 40 years.

I am hopeful as well, lots of young talent out there. The challenge for them is to balance technique with taste and melody as Beck did! I had the good fortune of attending this Crossroads. JB was placed perfectly in the lineup. It was a hot day, the crowd was strong but it was clear that the weather was having an affect and there was a threat of rain. When we were all dragging JB kicked the fu*ki^g door in and said “LETS GO!!!” The mood was uplifted and everyone seemed to get their 3rd wind!!! An amazing day indeed!!! 😃
