As a father of 3 little children, Elons last statement about how you relive joys through your children as they experience the world for the first time really hit home. I never really thought about it but it's so true. As a 39 year old, Disneyland is far from interesting but going with my 4 and 2 year old daughters was so incredibly fun. Their joy is your joy. It is so comforting to know that there are rational free-thinking people in this world like Lex and Elon. A lot of people hate on Elon, but if they simply took the time to get to know the man by listening to interviews like this, they would come away with a very different impression of him. What they also don’t consider is that with all of his money and intelligence he could do a lot damage in this world. Thankfully, he has a mother who loved him. Not sure where his love for humanity comes from, but it seems like he was born with it.

Lex is going to go down as one of the best Interviewers in history. He always allows the Interviewee to open up and express themselves comfortably, yet can press the question for an answer without hostility. He's not just intelligent and likeable without effort he's emotionally intelligent, he can read people and know exactly when and how to bring up tough questions/topics to get answers from his guests. This skill in the hands of a wicked or cowardly person is dangerous, but in a good honest and brave one, a blessing to everyone, outflow of insight, wisdom and revelation, calm yet powerful. Most interviewers are emotionally easily manipulated agenda supporting tools. A real interviewer is a great servant to truth, and wisdom to treasure.

Thank you for your service, but ancient history disagrees with you. The Roman republic's politicians were also their Generals. So when these politicians instigated a war, they would then have to go to it. Some would fight and die in these battles. Caesar famously fought personally against Gauls (having some near misses too if the sources are to be believed)... This did not stop them from instigating wars again and again for personal power, wealth and glory. If the leaders had to fight as well, I don't see it changing since they would still gain incredible power, wealth and glory

Interestingly I've hesitated to share my opinions on places like X, because it's too polarizing. We need long form chats. There are some nuanced voices on X, but they are far and few between. There is a fundamental and ugly truth to this. With freedom of choice comes disagreement and conflict that can lead to war. You can remove both at the same time, but that leads to a hellish totalitarian future that is far from what people would dream a peaceful world to be. The only way for such thing to work, would be for every individual human being to be trained to make the right, socially beneficial choice since birth. That is not possible. Even that would require for humans to not think, but act 100% according to their training.

First time I ever watched lex was with his 1st interview with Elon. Im not into Lex's philosophy , but I am Elon's . Mostly . Watching Elon grow since he sold paypal , he has stayed fairly true to himself. I've watched him become a man and learn that he has a lot of power . You could see it emerging a few years ago . Bless him and his family for everything he does for humanity . Im not 100% I would . My saying "I love humanity, but humans not so much"

Lex, I could listen to Elon Musk all day, and your style of interviewing should be a masterclass for all would be journalists, you have the skill to elicit information regardless of whether you agree with it, and your challenges / questions are perfectly placed and timed. It's quite refreshing to watch your interviews, it's a shame that the mainstream media think that being a journalist involves having a huge ego and talking over their interviewees. Having watched many of your interviews, I hope that lots of people subscribe, we can't trust the mainstream media anymore 🙏

I agree with what you say. However, I would like Lex to have asked him, 'Are you happy and do you feel fulfilled? '. Elon said, 'I don' t think anyone would wanna be me' and it seemed to me he doesn't feel he can really trust anyone. Fascinating.
