Jeff Bezos on "the most interesting thing" he observed in space

Because it sounds better. Also a stable orbit needs a lot more fuel and probably more stages and also reentry will be critical. The risk, waste of material and fuel would be to high for just the fun of it. Also they would probably need to be extensively trained if they really wanted to stay up there for a few days.
