The "gold bars you can't escape from" was also a jab at Bezos being locked up and cant get away. The "Al Gore Rhythm" also meant algorithm, which Bezos probably uses to his benefit. I only know this cause Scru's breaks it down easily on his channel since he helped write his lines.

@@TeacherEddieHistory ....expected to make a courtesy visit to the sultan , but Mansa Musa repeatedly refused to do so . He knew that everyone who met the sultan was required to kiss the ground in front of him . Mansa Musa was used to having people sprinkle dust on their heads when they came before him ( an expression of humility and respect , see chapter 4 ) , so he was not prepared to kiss the ground for the sultan . He finally did meet the Sultan and bowed as if pray ing , then declared , " I make obeisance to God who created me " ( quoted by Levtzion and Hopkins ) . The sultan welcomed him and presented him with expensive gifts . Not sure how reliable this is as a source, but it's from the book "Empires of medieval West Africa" on page 38. This would imply that Musa would either reluctantly bow to Bezos while pretending to bow to God, or Bezos means that if he bows to him, he must be God. At least, that's what I'm getting from it.

@mmartinezPhysics3 жыл бұрын
In a general sense, "algorithm" could be defined as "a *predefined* set of steps to perform a task". If it's already, predefined, it becomes monotonous, which is boring, emotionless, etc; that's not what we're looking for when it comes to "spittin' bars". This could also apply to Jeff's personality. Could this be a triple entendre?

The job I work I encounter alot of delivery drivers or freight truckers and I can attest to them being made to urinate in bottles and crap pretty much wherever they could. In my job job we have a term for human poop on the roadside. We call them "parcels" because me and an offsider encountered an Amazon driver one day taking a crap on the side of the road trying to half-heartedly hide behind his van and at that point we were over dodging poop on the roadside so once he was done we asked him why they always leave bottles of urines in public rest area bins or why they'd just crap on the roadside and he said it's because he wasn't allowed to stop. If he "took time away from the company" either he would have his pay reduced or be on restricted hours and shifts

Spiderman leaves criminals on webs to be arrested. He isn't serving something to the people, he's serving the people to the cops. If anything it's more clever because it's a double on the phrase "serve people." The best bar in terms of just plain rap skill is easily "I got the flywheel flows, I revolutionized delivery." Flywheel is arguably a double on being fly. Revolutionized is a double on a flywheel revolving. Delivery is at least a triple, being amazon delivering packages, trains with flywheels delivering things, rap delivery, and arguable a quad because flywheels transfer/deliver kinetic energy. 2 doubles and a quad in an 8 word bar, insane.

Mali might not be rated as the absolute top, but it's well known to be very powerful if you play it right. The inflation thing is a good lesson. Can't stand all those crypto and libertarian bros keep banging on about the gold standard, as though it can't be devalued like fiat money. It can, and the King of Mali did. The only way to control it is just like how we control the supply of fiat money. Because the value of gold is also fiat. It's worth whatever we say it's worth. It has no intrinsic value even if its supply is limited. And crypto is worse than gold or fiat.
