@@bxnnx. oh no doubt, the flows were both great, neither had any issues there. The problem is the subject matter. How many times can you say "you're dirty and smelly" before it's boring? One. One would be the answer to that. Ford did it at least twice, maybe three times.

@@brothersgt.grauwolff6716 at the end of the day though, that's what a lot of people use as an argument for capitalism, the quality of life and luxuries that might not be easily accessible through communism (for the ones who... aren't being shafted by the rich or the government). It's the kind of system that's very good... for a short amount of time in the grand scheme (100-150 years). Then eventually it collapses in on itself and regressions happen, which is why that "my concepts didn't cause mass graves, greed did" bar goes so hard. It talks about the literal mass deaths from Mao and Stalin's regimes but also the kind of unavoidable damage that greed does and will continue to do in any government system.

I was born in East Germany and therefore know a bit about Marx and Engels. I remember pausing at the end of Fords last verse (Capitalitst are cool when they paying your bills), rubbing my hands "Oh Marx's rebuttal to that will kill Ford alone".

Yeah, at the end of the day, the biggest difference between the two in this rap battle is that a lot of the attacks Ford has are so easily rebutted by Marx.

"Your model T, total lack of style is killing me" seems like kind of a lame line at first, but the double is crazy as "Your model (as in example) teatotal (as Ford didn't drink) lack of style is killing me (alcohol withdrawal being able to kill you). I missed it myself until I saw it pointed out, so I wanted to share.

@@LucasF25 it is now obvious to me that you 'didn't read sh', just as Marx said. If you would have read "Das Kapital", you would have to agree with Marx on that one. It's no wonder that Marxism is different from Stalinism and Maoism. Just to clarify, I am not a communist, but I did study it a bit a while ago. The mother is more of a setup. "you were the first of six KIDS, 'till the seventh killed your MOTHER - maybe that's why you spied on your workers like Big BROTHER". When you take it all together, it hits hard. Besides, the Ford's line while is savage, he didn't bury 'quite so many'. In fact, he buried 4/7 kids, while 3 Jenny's remained alive. But he DID name his 4th daughter Jenny too, just like Ford told him to. But it didn't help - she died just a year after she was born, which also undermines Ford's line. The Red Flag line IS dope, though.

So happy to see you uploaded! My absolute fav erb reactor/breakdown on KZbin! Also fun fact: Karl Marx suffered from a skin condition now known as HS which resulted is the boils in his groin area. I suffer from that and I can say it’s horrible. I’ve seen a couple reactors respond to that line saying he had it cause it was broke and dirty but it actually has nothing to do with being dirty. Hurt my feelings seeing ppl comment on HS like that but you didn’t do that. You are the best! Edit: I also live in flint Michigan and yeah they switched from Detroit’s water to flints and knowing gave us lead water for years until they switched it back to Detroit. Smh

Gotta say one thing about this battle. There are a lot of shit I could say they technically got wrong on the Ford raps, but the one thing that always irks me the wrong way is when people use the term Bread Lines and saying that's from communism when it was literally first used to describe the situation that people endured during the first economic collapse during the great depression.

Iirc Hitler's panzer division's tanks needed specific parts, bolts and something else I believe, that were only produced by Ford to even keep running. So without Ford's manufacturing plants, Hitler's armored division probably doesn't even run.

Some of the underappreciated lines from Marx that I haven't seen any reactors comment on. "Who that proud young Hegelian". Marx and Engels wrote the Communist manifesto together in the midst of the revolutions across Europe in 1848. Marx drew from a wide variety philosophical and political traditions one of which was the work of German Philosopher Georg Hegel. "Engels bank was the crank that got the revolution spinning". Rather obvious but a nice rebuttal that co-opts the fact that early cards and particularly the model T were started with hand crank, and that a crank shaft transfers power from the engine to the wheels.

I will say on Karl naming all his daughter Jenny It was a common thing for German families to do back then, for example a lot of families would name all their sons Johan and then call them by their second/middle name to differentiate them

Marx won this, no contest. A LOT of Ford's lines were "You stinky smelly dude, wash up." Marx hit him all over the place. Ford was SUPE OBBESSED with the "Perfection" that was his Model T....to the point that, when a head engineer and his sone showed him a "new model" with a "better engine," Ford to a wrench and a hammer and busted the engine right in front of said son and engineer.
