@@IronMan3582 Was that supposed to be English? Haha. But yeah. I was just wondering if the clip was cut in such a way as to exclude Bridges complimenting Favreau's filmmaking acumen, given that Jeff would've been well aware of his artistry with Swingers, Made, and Elf. It was, indeed, a production faux pas, but the clip made it seem like Jeff was saying that Jon didn't have a clue as to what he was doing. Lame clip.

I don't know about this movie in particular, but sometimes the movie can change COMPLETELY during editing. I mean like the scripts whole plotline can get swapped out to something that they might find more interesting, storytelling wise. That they filmed during production obviously, maybe a sub storyline or similar. And then they can bend the movie with non-speaking scenes paired with a narrator and paired with some clever use of B-roll. (It's really common practice for a b-camera crew on set to film extra angles, more of the set and so on that they can have for just these kinds of situations. As does the sound crew, everyone has to be quiet for them to just record the ambient sound of the room/location -> same reason) Edit: here's a great example with explanation: Star Wars! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXewqoCugr53hM0si=Mv8z_0mOibotMy7-

I think that the acting shines through on this movie and the script is only good sometimes, in the Marveltm one-liner kinda way. The method behind it really explains it. I think it has a respectable honesty about its mediocrity that makes it easier to watch. It's not chasing a trend, just an honest attempt that really set the trend in tandem with Thor and Cpt. A.

I would respectfully disagree, The end game saga was a masterpiece.

What do you even define as “the endgame saga?” That’s a cop out and you know it. Most people say RDJ was the best part of those anyway. Try again with a better take otherwise take your ketchup on steak opinion and shove it.

Jon directed one of the most successful Christmas movies ever made 4 years ago. He's got the chops, Favreau now makes Zemeckis and Bruckheimer look like Uwe Boll.
