I sure miss him racing💔😥 Never been the same for me. I root for Truex now but when he retires I'm truly done. Jeff will always be my forever champ and #24♥️♥️ I appreciate all the videos you share about him. Thank you. I think you and I were FB friends a few years ago but I haven't been on there for years. If you're who I think you are you were going through a heath crisis and I hope all is well with you now.

I recorded this when it aired on tv. I have no idea what happened to the VHS that it was on. Shoot I don't even have a VHS machine anymore. Thanks for posting this on KZbin. I just wish Jeff Gordon was more successful after His divorce was finalized. He did win a lot of races, but never could win that 5th championship thanks to the chase. He would be a 7 time champion if it wasn't for NASCAR wanting to compete with a sport that they will never compete with for TV ratings in the August-November time frame.

Like many others, I had this on vhs and as a kid would watch this all the time. Gordon was up and coming when my dad introduced me to nascar and was a Gordon fan through and through.

Thank you Jeff Gordon for donating your money to build the childrens hospital here in Concord NC.your generosity has saved so many lives.i live in kannapolis nc home of one of the greatest nascar drivers to have ever raced .I have never thought so highly of an athlete or famous person before jeff.if you or your children are looking for a role model Jeff is just that. Jeff has honestly done more for kannapolis and the sport of nascar than Dale has we have a Dale Earnhardt Statue here in kannapolis I hope Jeff could have his beside him someday

I love this video. Sucks we have to age. Love watching these videos, reliving those times. Jeff is my favorite driver ever, favorite human being. Apparently Jimmy Johnson struck twice at Hendrick haha

This is a really good documentary what a humble amazing guy. I was so happy to see no down votes because it seems like no matter how good something is there people going around just down voting everything for no reason. I love the fact that he has unapologetic about being a Christian. I’m not really a fan of NASCAR per se but I am a fan of this human being.

How ironic. Before mine there were 24 comments. And I had to mess it up. Oh well. Worth it to me. He sent Nascar to a new level. And Brian France ruined it in 2004 instantly with the inception of the Chase . Lost the diehard fans and the new ones they had gained. It's practically dead now. No clue how to score it, stage racing. Gimme a freaking break. That's at least 2 cautions you get to work on your car . Used to be races with no cautions and you just had what you had. Under the old system I could look at the finishing order and pretty much know exactly how many points my driver gained or lost. Now you just gotta wait till they tell you. The system was far from broken. Take a look at some of the points battles and you tell me. Even though Gordon won all those races he only ran away with one championship. The rest were all close. Top 5's and 10's don't even matter anymore. And even if someone is kicking your butt every week that tells me . GET BETTER! Like telling the Patriots they win too much so they only get to play with 10 players this season. Might as well start handing out the participation trophies. Ridiculous....

I agree. I think what they should have done is a small tweak where they award points for a pole, more points for winning, and more points for leading the most laps. That's it, that's all they had to do. That chase thing is just garbage.

@iconr6racer6 жыл бұрын
looking at the life he has with his children i would say it is anything but sad. I would be willing to bed he feels fuller with life today than he ever did with brook. faith in life is what counts, not religion.

@@iconr6racer I love that. At 29:15, watch what he says. Brooke forced him to love Christ and Religion. That just wasn't Jeff, that just wasn't him. I've been through something similar and I understand the value of a good woman, one who accepts you the way you are. It's very fulfilling. For some faith in Religion works, for others it doesn't.
