As much as we have loved Kelly, he didn't have any creative input but he had a really great voice. Like it or not he was like a session musician and singer. Period!

i WROTE jOHNNY RIVERS WHO HAS 60 YEARS , Maybe not of being Mr popular because he was one of the first to buy his own label- sun records, in Memphis, and scored almost immediately with 5th dimension. @@classicrockfan8034 I guess I should have said that his voice was the least of what they liked about him. In general they wanted to say something nice on that score which is not to say that they didn't like his voice but George certainly didn't choose to seek him out to work with him on his last album because of his voice and Paul and Ringo didn't agree to use him as their as their producer for their collaboration on Johns two old songs for Anthology because of his voice either and John didn't say much about his voice. What they all really loved and specifically chose him for was his production and orchestration skills.
