I've been having some trouble getting them to stay together but don't want to use eggs. Am going to experiement with using 1TBL more of just chia or flax seeds and letting the recipe sit for at least 20-30 before pouring (at which time I will add water if needed). I think that will cause a stronger "glue."

Alice replies: I don't know what flour mix you are using. But you can't have just a nut flour mix or just a brown rice mix. They have to be mixed with lentil, corn, or whole wheat flour. If I make a cracker with nut flour, the nut flour is no more than 1/4 to 1/3 of the total flour mix. Hope this helps!

@@jefferykahn Well, I did all those things, making the one with corn and brown rice flours. Have not tried the lentil and almond yet. I did all the things, adding the amounts recommended in the video. I'll let you know if my plan for using the chia and/or flax helps.

No oil? I've gathered all the "mix" ingredients and plan to make crackers tomorrow., but I'm wondering why no oil and also would like to know if farro would be a good addition to the "mix". Hope to hear back - thanks Alice ;->

Alice replies: Correct, no oil in the mix. It is healthier without the oil, and I use seeds which have fiber and oil. I have never tried farro. Glad to hear you are making crackers!

If you are going to use farro, it must be ground up. It will take too long to cook whole farro in the mix.
