It is our nature to hold on to our independence. You are absolutely right having a disability doesn't mean living an adventurous life is impossible. One can find happiness doing things like this stroll as long as one is excepting that there will be challenges and may have to expirience it a little differently. Sometimes it's nice just to have a little assistance along the way. I use to help my husband all the time when he worked on his truck or our cars. I didn't do much more than hand him tools, use my little fingers into tight places that proved difficult for his fatter fingers, pump the brakes and jack the vehicle up when he got jammed stuck under it. So we can all use a hand from time to time. The last time I went to Cooper Marsh there were lots of turtles in the little pond and a Woodcock, they are very rare in this area. Glad you enjoyed your day Jeff.

Really enjoyed this one! Loved your editing and especially your background music choices. Perfect soundtrack for a beautiful solo adventure. 😊 I rely on a mobility scooter for my adventures. Like you, I try to see how far I can go on my own and, also like you, have made my share of u-turns! I was at an arboretum recently and one of the staff recommended a trail that she said is "just a little hill...." As soon as I got to that turnoff, I realized there was no way in hell I'd be able to get down the "little hill," much less back up it! 🤣 I headed another direction and found yet another hill I wouldn't be able to navigate, ended up having to call that one and headed back to the car. I think it took me longer to unload, assemble, disassemble and reload all the pieces of my scooter than it took to ride that trail. 'Doh! It is, however, totally awesome when I find a good trail that I can manage 100% of the way. It's sometimes a bumpy ride, like yours, but I can go places I otherwise wouldn't be able to experience at all without my scooter. I was entering a park once that had a similar closed gate and itty bitty space between the gate and a large rock, like the one you went through to get into the park. Mine was JUST wide enough to let me pass, but that was it! Otherwise, I'd have had another u-turn to add to my list! 🤣 Keep 'em coming! ❤

Jeffie, you are amazing. If you are wondering what direction to go may I suggest that there are very few specialty travel vloggers that cater to people with mobility issues. Showing destinations, what are the mobility accessibility. Are there ramps, etc. You can show your part of the world to those of us who have the same accessible issues. Go to a specific place, and do a video. Just like today. its great! Share you findings with those of us that need a little bit of help safely. God bless ps we also love your art keep carving.

My computer friend. How are you going to learn whether you can or cannot do something? You have to try. Sometimes there are things that you think you cannot do. But you try and you succeed.
