A Fell Running Adventure - BOB GRAHAM ROUND

The Bob Graham Round is a long-distance fell running challenge in which runners attempt to summit 42 of the highest peaks in the English Lake District within 24 hours.
I had the opportunity to spend the entire month of June, 2023 in the Lake District, training and preparing to attempt the 42 fell challenge the weekend of my birthday in celebration of turning 42 myself.

This is not a mere KZbin video. It's a fantastic, professionally made documentary. I’m from England, not from near the Lakes but it made me incredibly proud to see someone who’s used to running in spectacular locations appreciating the amazing scenery and community that England and the rest of the UK has to offer. Excellent video. I have spent a lot of time on the Fells and I actually moved up to live in Windermere 12 years ago because of my love of the area. The Fell Running community is unique. You have put together one of the best videos I have ever seen about running the Fells and showing some brilliant views and conditions when out and about. I trained to do the Bob Graham many years ago but realised it was beyond my abilities after doing one particular 16 hr training day over part of the route. Great film....many moons ago used to run up from dumail raise to Helvellyn in my break from work?? My step father Stan winstanley ran the 48 peaks in the 70s..... with no pace runners he did it under 21.... Thanks for bringing back nice memories cheers.

I really enjoy this one! Some nice people you met and some historical content. There's something special about a fell running. It makes you see how small you are in this part of the world. Sure is different from running with rows of tall trees. Cheers !
