Jeff, I am truly grateful for your video. It inspired me to fastpack the TMB in 4 days. I trained 7 months and I was able to finish the loop in 4 days last Saturday. Thank you for inspiring me with your great work❤

Amazing, congrats! How was the snow pack this season?

The snow was still there on Bonhomme, de la Seigne and Grand Ferret. It made us moving More cautiously and it gave some delay. Other than that some mud due to heavy rain in Italy last week Thursday. I felt like a kid...😉

Me - 59, not run since late teens. Took up running (Slow jogging) last year to help with chronic back pain from a 21 year career as a paramedic... And now here I am, treadmill sessions, road running and this month I rediscovered my love for trail running and got some awesome Salomon trail shoes. This video has really inspired me, it was beautiful. Thank you so much,.

Dear Jeff, first off thank you for inspiring me to do the TMB in 4 nights. Together with two friends of mine we started watching this video in October 2023 and we accomplished the goal during the first week of July 2024. Day 1: Les Houches- Refuge des pres Day 2: refuge des pres - Courmayeur Day 3: Courmayeur - La fouly Day 4: la fouly - Trient Day 5: Trient - Les Houches I had no mountain experience and I’m not an athlete so I had to be sure I was extremely well prepared. Everything went fine apart from day 3: after having eaten an amazing pasta and a cappuccino at Walter Bonatti we headed off to Col Ferret and an unexpected storm awaited us. It was extremely scary as we could barely see due to fog and all the trails were completely hidden either by snow or ice. We didn’t have cleats which made the experience scarier. The descent to la fouly was also very scary as due to the strong rain there were some places had we slipped i wouldn’t be here writing this comment. The final two days were blessed with an amazing weather. Feel very proud for my accomplishment and in a way I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have made it without all your guidance. Thank you so much !

This is not just a video, seriously this is a documentary! This is absolutely magnificent, the quality of images, the flow, the music everything fits perfectly and is just so inspiring. I already know pretty well the tour so I thought I would skip some moments and I didn't get bored any minute. The best TMB video I ever watched and believe me I watched many haha! Thanks for this quality content, I can't wait to go on these trails myself next summer :) And please make tons of videos like this is a joy to watch!

So great watching this again after I've now done my TMB fastpacking trip (3 weeks ago)! This video was the inspiration for me to do it, and it's so nice to watch it again now and recognize some of the sections and the views! And I honestly can't wait to go back, it was just such an amazing experience. What's definitely different when doing this early June like I did is that a) most of the high (>2200m) sections are still covered in snow (which presents some unique challenges) and b) most of the refuges and restaurants are still closed so you'll need to plan ahead a bit more food-wise; but the plus side is that it's not so busy, and most refuges still have space even if you book just a few months (or weeks) in advance. Jeff and Audrée, thanks again for making this, it's really been such an inspiration!
